AMAZING FOOD !!! – Last Friday we went to Mediterrania for dinner and it was a great experience. This was our first time having dinner there, but we will go back. We read some of the reviews here, and we thought we would give them a chance. The restaurant and the food is worth the trip because it is not what others are saying that have not been there in years.
Best Mediterrania Food – We Recently went to Mediterrania for dinner and it was amazing. The food tasted delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming. My wife and I had the seafood Greek style and it was great as usual. We cannot wait to go back for dinner to Mediterrania.
Not impressed – These guys have been in business for a long time, and I don't know why. The food at best is ok, but olive garden does a better job than this place and it costs allot more. I hate to bash local restaurants, but this place needs help, it may be that if kitchen nightmares was to help out they might get back to being a good resurant, but I would have to hear some good news before I go back again. I am sad to say I will have to give this a thumbs down.
One meal wonder! – If it is an unusual hummas dish you are craving, this is it! A fusion of wonderful flavors -sour cream, garlic and other spices to create a unique and tasty dish.
Unfortunately, I did not feel so passionate about the rest of the food. I found the ambience was tastefully with impecable service from a waitress with great personality.
It is my opinion, the food had a great explination with a weak finish. Bottom line, the food lacked flavor. I hope they will carry the hummus creativity into their other dishes including the bread and olive oil dip.
This low-key, family-run eatery blends Italian and Greek cuisine. – The Scene
There's plenty of Mediterranean culture in this family-owned restaurant where Greek music sparkles in the air. Located in a strip center on Baymeadows Road, Mediterrania has a homey appeal that's fun for a casual evening. A banquet room also makes it possible to bring big groups for a Greek feast.
There are traditional Greek dishes, such as spanikopita (spinach pie with feta) or dolmades (grape leaves stuffed with rice, ground beef and spices), as well as Italian entrees, such as fettuccini Alfredo and eggplant Parmesan.
Dish to Die For
The chef creates a winning seafood combination of grouper, shrimp, scallops and lobster in a lemon marinade.
