I am an Ex-US Army Major who served in the first Gulf War and earned a combat patch with the 24th Infantry Division and 44 Med Brigade. I felt worst (this morning)than when I was on the highway of death 80 miles from Iraq with dead bodies on the ground.

I move to Arlington 11 years ago and have used them for all of those years - no matter what happened in my life I have used them. I did so and have done so for many years because of Johnny - one of the best mechanics around. But for many years my wife and I have had constant conversations about how we feel when we use the shop - Once my car broke down as I was trying to get it to the bay and I asked for help - the attendant's response was what the F@#@#$%K do you want me to do - now the car was in the middle of their lot. Many things have occurred since my using them and I have spent thousands of dollars at that shop. I was once also told that they could give a ____- about the gas the auto shop makes all the money. On my part - I did leave my car running while talking with Johnny (at the car) and My child knocked the car out of gear causing $488 in damages to a vehicle on the lot. I felt bad about that. It's was years a go and again my bills are paid and promptly. The judge said that he did the same thing to his father and dismissed all legal actions. They to this day still act as if I can't pay my bills and that's an insult. They should check their tickets as in the day the jobs were finished and the day the bill was paid. It has been very painful for years to take our car there and it does not feel right! They are moody and disrespectful. Many in the community speak of them with ill will and I even defended them during 9/11 and I was asked not to use them.

Today I asked for air and the attandant hooked up the hose and walked away leaving it on the ground. If I wanted to be a gas attendant, I would have not gotten those two Masters Degrees. I was left standing for 10 minutes. I waited then told the attendant that I could not get the hose to work properly and he never responded - just kept standing at the desk looking at the monitor. I have had it with them. I will die before I return to that shop. My wife is a real estat agent and when they asked for assistance - she jumped to help them. Everything with them is a hassle and a haggle!

This is just my opinion and the real insult was that a year ago when I lay dying in the hospital, my wife grief stricken - stopped by and needed help. She told me that she also was treated like a dog! Even when they learned of my condition and our struggles, they were heartless. I had zero funds and my car was down. I had a friend call as he was trying to help me get the car started to drive over to the shop and the owner Eli - told him - all he does is call and ask questions - he never uses this shop! I heard that comment and it almost brought me to tears, because I never used any shop but theirs over 10 years, unless I could not afford them and until that day - they were the only mechanics that had ever worked on my car unless they had turned away the work.

The friend/neighbor was in shock as I was just telling him that because of my condition - and our financial situation, I have been doing what I had to do to get by myself. I also told him that Johnny was the best. He was appalled at Eli. I was hurt as I was being kicked when I was down and fighting for my life.

Ruff Ruff! Don't Go There!
