ruining original Bertha Brown – as I know this unprofesional lady bought the company used to be owned by Bertha Brown which wellknown for all wonderfull and delicious cake she made. Unfortunately, the person who bought the company does not know how to run the business. Ruining Bertha Brown's name..........

We should send picture of this rude, unproffesional, ugly lady to all busineesses so they can post her picture in all store in jacksonville. Make sure she will get no business.

Anybody who has her pic. please email me one.............

Trish Harrison aka cuckoo the cake lady – My husband and I got married almost two years ago. We ordered a cake from Trish thinking she was affiliated with the well known " Bertha Brown". We ordered a 5 teir pink and white square wedding cake. A week before wedding we had to drop off $25 for the groomsmen cake. When my husband arrived he found trish's husband in the kitchen baking with no shirt on. My husband asked her what was going on and she told him they were living at the shop. We were concerned and disgusted at the same time. Our wedding was a week away, what should we do? So, we decided to just hope for the best. The wedding day: the cake was all white, not pink and white and look like a leaning tower. My photogragher had to photograph at just the right angle b/c the cake looked horrible. The cake also had pearls on it and they were uneven. We called up trish and politely voiced our concerns. She started screaming, cussing, and verbally abusing us. She told us we were lying and no one has ever complained about her work and we were just trying to get a free cake. We tried to talk to her calmly to no avail. She told us "our" contract did not state pink and white, it only said white. I told her to send me a copy of our contract in the mail , she said she would. Well, about 20 mins later she showed up at our house. As she is screaming in our front yard like we are on an episode of Jerry Springer, she gives me a contract that she had marked through and scribbled stuff out. Then she said she should have really charged us more for the cake, that she had given us a deal. So she scratched out "paid in full" and wrote we owed her $200 more. We contacted the bureau. We soon realized we were not alone. She had several remarks against her. They contacted her and she wrote them back. Her statement was nothing but lies. Nothing was ever resloved. We were going to take her to small claims court but never pursued it. She is delusion and crazy. DO NOT ORDER FROM HER!!!!!!! you willl be sorry.

HORRIBLE lady!!!! already been in court! – Ok, so I have read these reviews about Princess &CO and Cakes by Bertha Brown only becuase I have a friend who's wedding is next weekend and she is at this facility finalizing her cake plans as I write this! Patricia has gone nuts and even assaulted another friend!!!!! OMG, I looked her up on a consumer reports website and it just clicked!!! Patricia and the real Bertha Brown were on The People's Court! I watch this show religiously! I remember it because the case was close to home. The litigants were from Jacksonville! Bertha Brown was actually suing Patricia for fraud and money she hadn't paid in contract to buy the business from her.Judge Milian was NOT pleased with Patricia to say the least!!!!! It sounds like she's going to be back in court VERY soon! The cops hae been called out and it's gotten UGLY!!!! Go Lauren! DO NOT GIVE HER YOUR BUSINESS!!!! You will be sorry!

Worst business experience I have ever had. The cake was horrible. People had to take it out of ther mouths. I know have 95% of the cake left over. The owner is unprofessional, shouts at customers and then expects an apology. She is truly a con-artist. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS. She has taken over the name of the cake by bertha brown, but is not bertha brown and is a FRAUD. She will try to make you sign a contract for less money right then and there so you have no outs. She makes her deposit in full and non-refundable. AVOID since the owner is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, HORRIBLE CAKE MAKER, AND CON-ARTIST.

Avoid them! – We were not provided with what we had agreed upon in our contract. The service was terrible. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend them at all.

I have nothing nice to say about this company – Princess and Co provided the cake for my wedding. The cake tasted terrible and did not look how we had agreed upon in the contract. The grooms cake was also less than adequate. The owner had agreed to pick up her items the day after the wedding. She left me a message while I was on my honeymoon asking when I would drop these items off to her. When we called and reminded her that she had agreed to do this, she said that everything was fine and she would return our depost. One month later, we called to find out when we could get our deposit, as it had not yet been returned. She gave us the run-around and in the meantime deposited the check. When we called to get the money back, she said that she had been unable to get ahold of the staff at our reception venue to set a time to get her items. This was over a month after the wedding. She said that since she could not get her items, she deposited the check. Even though we payed her to pick up her stuff, she never did. She still has not refunded our deposit, and all of her items have been returned. This company is poorly run and will be sure to put a damper on any special occasion. Please avoid using this company.

Did not hold up to contract – The service was horrible. They was supposed to do Certain things to the cake that was not done. The shape of the cake was wrong. She showed up late held up my daughters sweet 16 birthday party . We was not able to start the party on time.. The Cake was old, stale, and dry. I paid for a choclate fountain that did not work. The staff signed a note for a full refund on the fountain. Once i spoke to the owner she said she would mail me a refund check and i never recieved it so when i called about the refund she laughed at me and said that i was getting no refundd and that there was nothing i could do about it. Please if you have a special occasion do not use this company. They ruined my daughters sweet 16 birthday she even cryed when she saw the cake because it was not done properly. I have my original contract with everything the company promised to do and i have pictures of the cake to prove it was not done correct. . I will be taking the owner to small claims court for my refund.
