This market is too high pressure sales. The owner got mad cause I was only buying one loaf of bread so he charged me 5 bucks for the same loaf I bought 2 weeks ago for 2.50. I will not be returning. I know lots of people who feel same as me and they don't go back either. Thank You!
4 Winds International Market is Fabulous – We love going to the Four Winds Market everytime we come down from Maryland to visit family in the Florida Panhandle. We enjoy the city of Pensecola, but what makes it even better is this store that is full of all sorts of flavorful foods and products. Best of all is the owner and his staff. They love their customers and love to give you a taste of all of their delicious treats.
The Best Sandwiches on the Planet – Where do I start? They have a great selection of international foods, great customer service and the most delicious cheeses and sandwiches a girl could ask for!
International Bizarre – This store is unique. I have never been to other similar stores. It is a cross between a greek deli and an international grocery store. They carry eccentric items for cooking international food like white miso paste, but they also have a deli area where they sell fabulous tabouli, hummus, dolmados, and other greek dishes. The one downside is you always leave with more than you came in with.
Other pluses: Surpisingly, the market also has a decent belgian beer selection. Not something you would expect from a traditional international market. His cheese selection is amazing. And he sells hot greek food, everything from gyros to kebobs. Delicious!!!
As for the owner, he is a "salesman!" This needs to be emphasized. He will try to sell you everything from olive oil soap to olives. Everything he carries is "wonderful." Truthfully, I have yet to be disappointed, but if you don't watch yourself, he'll have you buying russian chocolate candy bars and israeli couscous, when all you went in for was a fresh, hot, delicious gyro.
However, if you like international cooking, this place is wonderful for those hard to find items that the groceries stores often do not carry.
