Overpriced, poor quality – This restaurant is overpriced and the food is lousy. The only thing I would order there is pizza and even thats overpriced. I had the meat lasanga and the sauce tasted like ragu and the presentation looked like stouffers. Since it was $12 and I had to pay extra for a salad, I would say this place was a rip off.
The Best Italian Food of Apopka!.... – This is the a great place to go with the family and enjoy all about Italian food.
Named for a village near Naples, this Italian eatery has a split personality: part specialty pizzeria, part fine-dining restaurant. – The Scene
Two-eateries-in-one at the end of a strip mall. The sprawling main dining room offers the full menu in an informal ambience.
Hot and cold antipasti range from homemade mozzarella with basil, tomatoes and olive oil to grilled portobello mushrooms. Besides calzones, subs and pizzas by the pie or slice, Caffe Positano serves more than two dozen takes on pasta, as well as veal and chicken. The dessert menu is equally extensive, from homemade cheesecakes and tiramisu to imported sorbets. Roman stuffed pizza--with its just-right crust and onion, meat and potato filling--is the one to try. Among the pastas, ziti aum aum stands out, thanks to its sauteed eggplant. Save room for chocolate mousse.
Best Pizza – Best pizza in town. Great food overall. Try also the white spinach garlic pizza.
Caffe Pasitano - Wonderful – I used to live in Atlamonte Springs and worked in Apopka. When Cafe Positano opened up it was Fantastic and we ate there up to 3 times a week for lunch and occacsinal dinner. I LOVED THE FOOD!! The service was EXCELLECT. Unfortunally, I moved away 2yrs ago to Dalls, TX. We have nothing like them here. I still come home once a year and my first stop after mom's house is Cafe Positano. Keep it up fellas!!! Terrific Place!! Get the Ckicken Parm Sub and the Soups!! To Die For!
Caffe Positano – I LOVE this place, I used to live in florida and went to Positano's everyday when my parents owned what used to be the drycleaners nextdoor. I really miss the food and the atmosphere, there's no place like Positano's here in Chicago, I wish the guys would come up here and open one!!!!!!
Absolute Authentic Italian with Style! – This restaurant is in a league of its own. Unlike other commercial italian restaurants such as Olive Garden, this is 100% authentic italian. The restaurant is very nice and designed for a casual dinner or lunch, to a formal fine dining section of its own. With its outstanding service and top-notch food, this restaurant is one-of-a-kind and is a MUST to go and try for yourself.
Best Italian in town!! – Wonderful food romantic but yet a place where you can also take the kids the restraunt and pizzaria is seperated by a wall. Great place!!!
