The facility at Baldwin Park is impressive, and the camp has been a lot of fun for my daughter this past week. I love that they have a little pool to swim in and it's in a wonderful neighborhood with a nice group of kids and competent and friendly camp instructors. A big however, though...the managerial staff upfront is often unfriendly and sometimes unreasonable with their policies in my opinion. Three times in one week I"ve left frustrated at their tone of voice or when inquiring about something. We bought a $30 leotard today, and since I pulled the tag off to pay it was unreturnable or unexchangable 5 minutes later when my daughter tried it on to find it didn't fit. "Sorry, you can't return it." was all I got from the blonde manager with a smug look on her face. Yesterday, I was 10 minutes late picking up after getting stuck in a traffic accident, and I got a nasty "You're late" and had to whip out my credit card immediately to pay a $15 late fee. Quite frankly, I"ve never been treated so dismissevely at a children's facility in my life. Although my daughter has enjoyed it, I will not return again. There are too many other nice places which are happy to accomodate us and who would appreciate our business. Beware of this place if you are a stickler for customer service, because this place has zero. It's really a shame, as this place has such potential, and I had planned to have my daughter's birthday party there, but I wouldn't dream of giving them our business again.
I absolutly love it! – I've been going to Orlando Metro for about four years now. I've had a couple coaches over the years because of going up in levels, and the coaches I've had have all been so awesome. It's an amazing facility with great equitment, my the coaches really care about your safety and are very friendly, and it's just amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They have a "free day" once a week where you can go and do gymnastics or tumbling [&i think cheer?] for free, and its so much fun. I absolutly love it there, and my coach, Ms. Debbie is amazing. She's so funny and great. My other coaches [past] were ms Chelsea and Niomi (sp?), and a few others that I'm not sure are there anymore, and they've all been so wonderful. I absolutly love it and would reccomend it to anyone.
Good Instruction – My 3 year old just loves beginner gymnastics at Metro. Miss Debbie is awesome and all of the instructors are very patient with the little ones. Well worth the tuition cost for our family.
