Tips for Peet's Coffee & Tea
Great way to start the day. Peet's might serves a consistently EXCELLENT cup of coffee. Strong, dark, mellow brews every time. I've bought their coffee beans, and it still doesn't taste as good as it does when I buy a cup. I"m not as much a tea drinker, but I have friends who swear by the tea--they even give you a little tea pot to drink from if you care to linger. It's next door to Noah's bagels (not as good) and Wild Oats market, so you can get breakfast and do your weekend grocery shopping in one fell swoop.
Real Coffee. The line in the morning is long because the coffee is fresh and the service is friendly and prompt. In the evening, the staff will offer to brew a fresh pot. The tea selection is outstanding.
For Peet's Sake. For those who like their coffee strong and smooth, Peet's is the place. The espresso drinks are good, but the regular cup of coffee is the best. Buy it by the pound, you won't be disappointed.
Good Coffee, Great Service. I live right around the corner from Peets and spend nearly every weekend sipping a latte and reading The New York Times on the patio. The coffee is good, but what really makes this place special is the staff. They churn out caffeine-treats quickly & efficiently, all while maintaining a sassy and fun atmosphere.
