Popular bagel chain brings the classic New York treat to West Coast neighborhoods. – In Short
Scattered around California and the Pacific Northwest, these casual cafes cater to on-the-go daytime diners. In addition to 17 sweet and savory bagel varieties and a range of flavored cream cheeses, the shop's morning menu offers freshly baked pastries, signature "eggsensation" omelet combinations and five coffee blends named for NYC neighborhoods. Lunch options include gourmet sausage "bagel dogs," a selection of salads and hot and cold deli sandwiches piled with pastrami, corned beef and lox.

Get Real – This is fast food, not a real deli. Period. Hey, it's not bad if you've never had a fresh bagel from H&H or other NYC notables, but this is a chain.

The deli experience is wonderful, but you'll never find it here or at any other Noah's bagels

Not traditional but good....... – The bagels here are good as long as you're not looking for the "Jewish deli" variety. I like the choices plus they also make good sandwiches. If you want a real bagel though, I would choose Canter's Deli in West LA.

They do deliver to businesses in the area and will cater a business lunch meeting.

Feh. No bagels here! – I'm from the east coast, and I baked in a traditional bagel shop for four years. I'm not sure I can even call their product a bagel! These are machine-formed and baked in a steam oven. They aren't dense enough, and the crust is barely there. I'm not saying they're awful, but please, please don't call them bagels. They're a distant cousin to the real thing.

My other objection to Noah's is the faux New York Jewish deli atmosphere. Can't put my finger on it, but it really, really bothers me.

Perfect for lunch – I'm not from the East Coast, so I'm not sure I know what a "real" bagel is. But I love the bagels & sandwiches here--esp the veggie special.
