Best little bar in great little restaurant! – Great food!i always sit at the bar..Nicole the bartender was friendly and the blue long islands where delish! Definitely coming here again!
Great Catering – Had our Christmas party catered by Big Tomato. It was awesome. Jason was the caterer that came and set everything up. You can tell he was a real pro. Everyone was amazed by the spread and I was happy with the overall outcome. Looks like we found a place for our Xmas dinner every year.
Love i – Went there today for the first time. The brunch was great, we had a fantastic server, Jennifer. She was very bubbly and pleasant. She talked to us about their Thursday night wine tasting and daily happy hour. She made our experience very enjoyable!
The food for brunch was great, constantly being refreshed - nice and hot. They have an omelet station where they make them fresh for you and how you want it. The boy that was there today was great and made one of the best omelet I've ever had.
Can't wait for next week!
Great food, lousy service – My husband and I have lived in the area over 40 years. We use to frequent the Big Tomato Market Grill a couple of times a month and it was always delicious. For various reasons, it has been about three years since our last visit. We had dinner with several friends there early this evening and the food was as great as we remembered, but our experience was lest that great or even good. We went early and the restaurant was not busy yet. The waitress was inattentive, slow and very unpleasant, actually rude. Her responses to questions regarding items on the menu were short and curt, the service was slow and her attitude very demeaning. Most of the party had salads with the dinner. We waited quite awhile for them to come. After most of us were finished with our salads, the people who had requested soup still had not received it. When one of them asked her about the soup, her reply that it was coming was short and nasty. It did not come for about 5 more minutes. Both her attitude and the service continued to declined through the meal. We paid our bill without saying anything, but were very dissatified with the service. Usually the only recourse a customer has when the service is bad is not to leave a tip, however the customer does not have that option at your restaurant. We were forced to leave an 18% grtuity for a very unpleasnt experience. Will we most likely will return because your food is excellent but if we experience the same kind of service again, it will be our last visit to Big Tomatoe Market Grill . No one wants to pay for poor service and attitude and then have to give the waitress who made their experience less than desireable a tip. She had no right to expect or recieve one.
Good Food – Food is good, location is great. I am a regular there and enjoy myself everytime. My only suggestion would be to offer more healthy alternatives for the health conscious customers like wheat rolls, and wheat pasta. Trust me, many of us will not mind paying extra for it if it will help improve our long term health.
Fun Atmosphere – I enjoyed going to this place. It was not boring. Some of the portion sizes were large; so many places are skimping due to the economy. The garlic rolls and salads were excellent. I was disappointed in the taste of my eggplant parmesean. The serving was also a bit skimpy.
Great down-to-earth restaurant for the whole family – One of our favorite places in the Miramar/Pembroke Pines area. Food is great, service is always friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable.
Editorial Review by Christy Buena – Large portions and flavorful, authentic Italian pasta sauces keep locals coming back to the restaurant ideal for group dining.
