Great Customer Service!!! – It seems we only hear about the negative comments when it comes to customer service. I want to change that by making sure that everyone knows that Gator Vacuum is the kind of business that goes out of their way to solve your problem. My daughter has been going there for many years and has always been happy with the service and attention she gets from not only the staff but the owner. I remember when she told me the owner himself carried her vacuum out to her car because the other guys were busy. I recently brought in my 20yr old vacuum that stopped working, I was sure Gator Vacuum wouldn't be able to find the parts to fix it. To my surprise I got a call the next day that they found the parts they need and would have my vacuum ready to pick up in 2 days! When I came in to pick up my vacuum, it was waiting for me and had been polished and cleaned up so well it looked brand new! I'm a "clean freak" and couldn't wait to get home and vacuum. The owner carried the vacuum out to my car, placed it in my trunk and even opened my car door for me! It doesn't get any better than that!!

They actually took the time to help me! – Dear Gator Vacuum / Think Vacuums, Usually I extensively research items I intend to buy, especially over the internet. When I started looking for a central vacuuming system I happened to land on Think Vacuum's web site. I called with a question about a certain brand and the call taker said that I could speak to the owner Robert, who could answer my questions best. She was right. Robert took time to explain to me about different brands, quality, and what the different warranties were. He didn't pressure me at all to buy anything but instead enlightened me about what to look for in a central vacuum system. A few weeks later I called back and placed an order direct with Robert. He even gave me a discount coupon which I was not aware of at the time. What I really liked about this place is that they took a personal interest in me. I know if I have a problem with my order or installation I can always talk to Robert. I wish more businesses would be like this.

I just wanted to tell you what exceptional customer service Dan B. provided me with last week when I had a technical service-related question. He also advised me as to which power nozzle to purchase to replace mine when it dies. In this age of "customer no-service" offered by so many companies, I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated the prompt, respectful service I received from your employee!

FRIENDLY STAFF, GREAT SERVICE – My wife and I just moved into a new apartment with mixed flooring, both carpets and bare floors, and with three cats, pet hair is a problem. We spoke with Jim at Thinkvacuums and he recommended the Sanitaire SC3683. The suction on this vacuum is excellent and is perfect for our families cleaning needs. The customer service was great, the prices were very reasonable and the shipment came in quickly. I appreciate that Jim took the time to listen to what my wife and I were in the market for and not just push the flavor of the week. THANKS FOR HIS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE we purchased a great vacuum that my life loves and that makes me happy because if she loves using the vacuum that's one less chore of my "honey do list".
Gator Vacuums gave me great advice and service – I made the decision to purchase a central vacuum system for my home, but I did not know anything about the different units and models. I found them on line after doing a search.
There are a lot of different models out there, so I had no idea which one was right for me.
I sent them an email asking for help. Dan, one of their salespeople sent me an email back and we started talking about how big my house was, and which system was right for me.
After being offered a few different choices, I picked the Nutone VX 550 model. Im happy I chose this model. It really had a lot of features. There 's a light indicator that shows me when the bag is full, and the system actually shut itself off when the bag was full.
The system was installed by a contractor who knew what he was doing. He placed it in a corner in my garage, and I am very happy about the installation.
I was told that Nutone is the one of the best, if not the best on the market, and after living with it for 4 months, its really come through for me and performed. I thank Gator Vacuums, Think vacuums com very much.
Great help – Our central vacuum motor started making some crazy noises in the garage. When I opened it up to see what was wrong I saw that the motor was sparking. I found thinkvacuums online and gave them a call. I spoke with a rep there who was great with me on the phone. I believe his name was Dan. Anyway. He was able to point me in the right direction. I got a new motor shipped out to me within less than a week from calling, he even pointed me in the right direction to find an installer. The vacuum is back to normal and working better than ever. Just wanted to thank thinkvacuums for their help!
Disappointing – We really trusted them for years. We bought 2 vacuum cleaners from them in the past. They are not the cheap ones - good Miele. So we were very disappointed when we found out what kind of people they really are.... .
When we didn't want any service done because we got a new vacuum as a gift, the lady (I believe she is the mother of the owner?) just got really really upset. more like mad.
She kept saying it was so wrong that we didn't get a vacuum from them. She was really blaming us!
We offered to pay for the service of just to look at it.... if that 's what she/they wanted, but she said no and just kept really really bad mouthing us. It was so sad. caz we really liked her and their place.
Oh but the funny thing is... after we came home with the old vacuum clearner which needed new parts of amost $300. is all better now and fixed. lol. It probably didn't need new parts to begin with.
Not only the lady at the front desk but even the owner's attitude doesn't help at all to keep their customers coming back... . well, at least we won't go back.
We're sorry you had a poor experience with our company. We value all of our customers and appreciate everyone's business. Gator Vacuum has been in business since 1957, has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, and retains a loyal customer base going back over 20+ years. At times miscommunications happen. In this situation, the vacuum was no longer under warranty and did not qualify for a free repair. We notified the customer of this by mentioning that it would cost to fix the vacuum.
As a business, we understand that you will never be able to please every customer. We have been apart of the vacuum industry now for 54 years and would hope most of you reading this understand that sometimes you just have a bad apple.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE-STAY CLEAR – This has to be the worst store I have ever had the displeasure of setting foot in....was harrassed and verbally abused by the worker and the owner was as white trash as he was. They both lied and then lied to cover up their own lies. The workers there even said the owner was full of crap. Save yourself the aggravation and go to a place that appreciates your business.
