Great stay for the pay.. Great stay. Cool looking hotel with artsy flavor. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. My friends and I had a wonderful time. Perfect location for nightlife and others.
They try...but is it worth it?. We moved to Savoy after experiencing an awful dissapointment with Mercury Hotel (see review). The hotel lobby looks nice, the staff is very helpful, they sure try. The rooms are ok, stains on the carpet (which seems to be any hotel in South Beach's problem), and they were having problems with door locks (we were actually locked out of our room for 40 minutes at 2:30am) The great thing is the location, its right on the beach. One word of advise, if you want to go to some overrated South Beach clubs, DO NOT believe the staff they you will be on the guest list, because most likely you won't. If you have time to plan, money to spare, and want a little more on your vacation, go to Mandarin Oriental
