The Lincoln Road location is GREAT. Food is always great, service is perfect, and the admosphere is phenomenal. The downtown location, however, leaves much to be desired. Service is slow, and food is so so. Not to mention that they don't even have a liquor license yet. I think the only reason they have business is because they're in downtown.

SUch a good sushi place! They have a special drink called firefly lemonade, it's soooo good.

sushi sushi!!! – that place is awesome... went there few times on the weekends, it was packed, food is amazing, cocktails are delicious, be careful, you can try too much :) sake list is huge, ask the server, you can get lost.

also i forgot my purse there once and they actually had it next day, made a great impression. :)

heard they also do nakedsushi parties, but have to call and ask them more about it, but sounds like a plan :)

Great for people watching! – I have dined here several times. Having been a sushi eater for 23 plus years I tend to be very picky. Unfortunately rarely do sushi restaurants wow me. This one tries hard to so I credit them for that. While serving all the basic rolls and fish they have done a few signature rolls that look good utilizing multi colored roe. The rolls are decent sized but he sushi cuts were not as fat as I like them. The service is good and it is a great spot to people watch on Lincoln Rd!

Fun sushi place – I enjoy Doraku for the whimsical decor and the original sushi and cocktail creations. As toehrs have mentioned the rolls are pricey but they are also huge so you don't need to order as much quantity as you would normally.

Very pleased with 7pm dinner – The sushi was quite good, not the best I've ever had, but fresh and it came quickly.

Doraku is not owned by Benihana's any longer - it's sold to a new owner.

Good drink specials.

I'd go back again next time in Miami just to see the gorgeous server again. No attitudes on display, they appreciate their customers.

User review by kcodorniu – Doraku is a great Sushi place. The rolls are incredible and while they may seem pricey they are large and filling. Doraku is also the king of sake. The ambiance is wonderful its lively enough to make you want to come back but still quaint enough to have a nice evening out with that special someone.

great place, great food! – this little place is fantastic! While the price may seem higher than in other sushi places, the size of rolls and quality definitely compensate for that. Try their special Doraku roll and Dragon roll, those two are the best:) Also, the service was great as well!

Classy Japanese eatery near Lincoln Road Mall offers urban hipsters fresh fish dishes. – In Short
Doraku's understated dining area features light-wood tables and floors that glow amber under dim lights. A large anime mural and a DJ booth add trendy touches. Sushi is the specialty here, and a conveyor belt allows diners in surrounding booths to grab a roll as it slides by. The signature Doraku roll is a tempura-fried sushi roll with lobster, kanikama, cream cheese, red and black caviar, scallions and spicy cream sauce.

Nobu Minus Attitude/Price – Wow...I've finally found a perfect date place! The atmoshpere is awesome. The lounge music is relaxing and the ambiance is mellow. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, surprisingly tastier and cheaper than Nobu which was a nice change. Halfway through our meal, I realized that there was this gigantic pulsating octopus hanging over our heads behind a bamboo screen! Very Cool. We had drinks after our meal and the bartender made the best mojito I've had in SOBE. He chatted with us for thirty minutes. If you go to Doraku, congratulate him on his upcoming marriage. Sorry girls ;)
