Excellent and Honest Honda Repair for Local Miami! They have great personal service and family atmosphere. I've been taking my Accord to Carlos for years and wouldn't go or trust my car with anyone else. It's great to know there are skillfull people you can count on. I went to them after I took my car to the dealer for a recall and they wanted to sell me more than $1,500.00 worth of work. I did the recall and then took my car to Japanese Car Care who revised the estimate which only 2 of the items were needed. My repairs cost $250.00. I will always be a devoted to them.
Our business is being slandered and sabotaged by bad reviews!!

Please don't believe the bad information, we are being set-up. We did have a customer come in by the name of Kitty Mui whom we repaired her car graciously, honestly and personally supervised. This woman, who seems to be a journalist and works for social media, has said anything possible to make us look bad. We have offered several times to pick up the car, but she never calls back and has no address??. She doesn't seem to want our help; her job is to slander people. Somehow, she has managed to only place the reviews she wants under our name without exposing the thread to our conversations while trying to resolve her many problems. I don't know what is going on, but business's are under attack.
Horrible! Don't get scammed! I took my Honda Civic to Japanese Car Care Specialist (JCC) in Miami, FL to change the timing belt, alternator belt, power steering belt, and the water pump. My car had never had problems - it was the best car I ever owned and I got it new.
First the place refused to give a written estimate and later added other charges claiming it was fees required by Miami Dade County, which I later found out it was not. During the work, they broke my coverplate and told me I had to pay them an extra $25 for them to fix it. I paid for the work and left thinking I never have to deal with this place again.
Afterward, within a month time, my car had metal grinding noise, loss of power, slow accleration, the big puddle of liquid under my... parked car, and now there s white smoke coming from the engine.
I have been in contact with owner about the issues. So far, it was blamed on the age of my car for the cover, the battery for my car not working, and I guess no other excused for the other items. When I told them I noticed the belts were not OEM like they said, there was no response. I have a Honda, the belt was for a Porsche. I researched it, these belts are not interchangeable. I told them I want them to redo the work with OEM parts and fix whatever was cause from their work in the first place. And now that the car does not work, for them tow it.
However, JCC was glad to look at the car for the cost of $90 tow. They didn't agree to anything else nor were they willing to put anything in writing to confirm they will fix the problems cause by their work at their expense as well as put in the OEM parts.
Watch out for this place if you never been here and watch out for missing parts to your car and get your parts back to avoid recycling if you have taken it there. I have had a horrible experience with this place from beginning to end.
Now my car is going a Honda dealership.
Awsome!! – OMG, i went over to JCC a few weeks ago to get a tune up for my honda accord, and let me tell you that i was so pleased that i took it there, my car was done so quick i came in on saturaday, was thinking to take it to Brahman but thank god i did not that place was a mad house. i really liked the personal attention and at JCC i got that not that foney bolgne stuff they give you at the dealer. The price for my tune up (minor service) was good, they even offerd pizza and a free car wash!!!.. i ws so impresed about it and i posted that i was so happy on my facebook page.. thanks JCC see you in a few thousand miles !!!!
Keep up the great work. – Japanese Car Care Crew, I appreciate their efficiency and honesty. These guys are the very BEST in Miami. A friend recommended them to me over 4 years ago and they have proved themselves to be competent, pleasant, professional and most of all honest people!!!
OK, here's the story. I've been loyal to my mechanics (not Japanese Car Care) since I was in my twenties (I am now close to 50) and would not trade them for the world but, I have this friend who swears by JCC. I told him that I was happy with my mechanics but he insisted that I take my recently purchased (at the time) used Infiniti to them for a diagnosis. I had taken my car to my mechanics and aside from needing a back motor mount and a rear seal (both issues were not major by any stretch of the imagination) the car was perfectly safe and all they asked was that I keep an eye on my engine oil since the rear seal was causing a very minimal oil leak (I placed a piece of cardboard under the engine for two weeks every time I parked it so I could see how much oil was actually leaking).
Just to test my theory that these guys were not what they pretend to be, I actually paid the $90 plus(don't remember the exact amount) they charged me to diagnose my car and I told them nothing about me taking it to any other place previously for a diagnosis.
A whopping $3811.80 total! A laundry list of issues and problems that my mechanics had not detected nor had my very expensive OBDII scanner. I thanked them for their time, payed the diagnostics charge and left.
Three years later, I have not changed the motor mount nor the rear seal (I add a quart of oil every month and a half) and I've put over 25,000 miles on the car. I keep taking it to my trusted original mechanics and they themselves tell me that when I'm ready, to let them know and they'll do the work (zero pressure).
Moral to the story:
DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!
A SERVICE!! – So happy to have found a trust worthy repair shop. I totally recommend it. They got the work done perfectly. I don't feel taken advantage of and that to me is PRICELESS!! My Honda is running like a brand spanking new car.. Yay
Great service – I visited Japanese car care because they came highly recommended by a friend of mine. My Acura seemed to be missing and I couldn't figure out the problem.
When I got there I met Carlos, which is the owner of the shop. They are very friendly and it is a family owned business. He was nice and came out side to diagnose my car as soon as I arrived. He pinpointed the problem quickly and told me it would be ready in a few hours.
I dropped it off and as soon as it was done they gave me a call letting me know that it was ready for pick up.
It was a great experience and I highly recommend visiting them with any of your car needs.

Do not recommend – For the same experience, go to the dealer or a tire kingdom. You'll get the job done but no savings here.
