favorite place on the beach – Go here all the time. Never get tired of the service or the food and the ambiance is delightful. Been going for years
Romantic 15th Anniversary – Great restaurant from the start, hostess asked our seating preference. We choose inside, although the view from outside was nice. Our waitress Kaela C from Rohde Island was very pleasant from the start. We order cocktails and appetizers, Escargot and Chowder. Both were recommended by Kaela (great choice). We then ordered our entrees, seared tuna and rack of lamb. Both were cooked as we requested (Perfect). The atmosphere is calming and not to loud. This restaurant is great for both special romantic occasions and a group of people. We will most definitely go to this restaurant again. We even stated that this could be a restaurant we frequent often. Enjoy, I know we did!!!! Kaela you were great, I hope all the servers there are just as good. Thanks for making our anniversary special.
OMG I do not think I will go there again – Worst service ever.
Make sure that you do not have the blond male server he is the worst. Been there several time when I am in town for vacation and tonight it was the worst service ever.
If you wanna to take a shower of 2 sangria glasses and a glass of water go there.
The manager seems to not care; despite this he did give me a 50% discount on my tab .
Hostesses are the worst ever as they can not even figure out that a customer is not pleased and how to react when he asks to see the Manager on duty.
Food is amazing but OMG service suck.
Poor service – Hamburger was great, salmon was suppose to have a rice and cucumber salad but it was a carrot salad. The server (tall black guy) didn't want to be there and should find another job. For the price there is better restaurants down the road.
Still dreaming about the pesto garlic dip – We arrived at Casablanca around 7:30PM on a Sunday night and it was busy. We heard the hostess telling a group in front of us that the wait was an hour but since we were just two, we were seated right away. We were seated upstairs. They were playing an acoustic music satellite radio station. Our waiter brought us bread with this pesto-garlic dipping sauce that I am still dreaming about, it was delicious. The rest of our food was good, but the pesto sauce was the most memorable part of the dinner. Recommended.
Our hotel was right – Our hotel recommended casablanca after a few failed attempts on our own to find a nice dinner on the beach. we really enjoyed it! the atmosphere was a strange mix of fine restaurant, busy diner, and nightclub. downstairs, it was loud and crowded, with a band playing and a lively bar -- but we sat on an upstairs balcony which was quiet and romantic with an excellent view of the ocean. The menu was excellent, with a great variety. It was heavy on fish -- no surprise in florida, but there were several pasta dishes, duck, lamb, and four different steaks to chose from as well. As an appetizer, we had a shrimp cocktail, and our server suggested we pour a shot of Ketel 1 citron over it. I will never eat shrimp cocktail any other way now! We also had calamari, which was big enough to share, light and crisp, and served with a light butter sauce instead of marinara. For dinner I had pumpkin crusted wahoo, and my friend had flank steak served with salsa and polenta.I was surprised by how much I liked the wahoo and the portions were an excellent value. And instead of a traditional dessert, our server suggested a "dessert flavored cocktail" -- a banana split martini! They sure like to drink there! But speaking of our server, we also got one thing we couldn't find anywhere else on the beach -- actual service. The service was friendly and fun but still efficient and attentive, our table was kept clean and our silverware kept fresh. Our server knew the menu inside and out his suggestions were dead on. And what's more, everyone in the restaurant from the batenders to the bus boys boys made us feel like they'd known us for years even though we had never been there before. We hope the day comes when they have known us for years!
Music and Atmosphere – If you go for nothing else, go for the entertainment. The Duo on the weekends is fantastic.
The singer has been on tour and TV both are great!
liked a lot – Ambiance and food was very good. Service a little slow and utensils could be cleaner. Great view.
GREAT FOOD, OK SERVICE – Our service wasn't bad, perse. I'm a waiter, so i know what its like to be busy. A little on the slow side at the beginning, but it was worth the wait. Excellent food all around, good and probably above average service, very busy restaurant. Great dining experience overall
Wonderful Atmosphere - Ocean View – I work a t the Pillars Hotel just down the hill from the cafe...We send our guest to Casablanca all the time..It is the best restaurant on this stretch of A1A..We ALWAYS get a rave revies from our guests!!..the food is always fantastic..the view is great the upstairs is very romantic.....the outside patio can be really loud it seems voices echo off the walls...I suggest upstairs or on the balcony upstairs..or the elevated section to the left of the entrance....and the fried Calamari is the best I've ever had...Thomas Gibson
