Where's my Rickenbacker 370 ...? – The day had come ... I had been waiting for years for the opportunity to play music again. I went to Sam Ash with underlying excitement ...

My first buy was another 6 string. Well, being a John Mayer fan, I wanted a Stratocaster [actually, I just really like the versatility of a Strat]. I hate Les Paul's ... it's like adding another 30 pounds handing on my shoulders ... they are simply too damn heavy ... at least for me. So Christina pulled a 2009 Special Contour bodied Standard American sunburst Stratocaster ... and it was nice to be buying American and brand new. Next item was the Rickenbacker ... I thought of the 360-G until I became aware by Christina that they were now making the 370-12 which simply adds a third pickup. It's going to take a while before I get it, but it's the same guitar I played in the Novelles in the late 60s. I loved that guitar. I also bought my Martin acoustic /electric here. As for foot pedals, I got:

Ibenez Tubescreamer, Boss Digital Delay DD-7, Boss Chorus Ensemble, and of course the Vox wah wah. Then I heard some news on a new sustain-compression foot pedal .. The JangleBox and purchased that which I got two months later. But something was missing, I wanted a new sound that would blow me away and I thought "an octave generator" and Christina told me about the POG. Wow, this foot pedal is amazing. I'll be able to sound like I'm playing an 18 string [never made] when I play my Martin. I better end this it's gettin' mighty long. To make a long story short, I've spent $8,000.00 and I'm ready, I just need to get some compatible musicians together ... this will be like reliving my youth.
