I recommend this shop very highly!! – I have horrible frizzy hair and Kathleen at Michael Scott as well as all the stylists and owner have been amazing at figuring out a PERFECT solution for me. She applied Agi Max and I was able to vacation, swim, ride bikes with a helmet and still have shiny straight hair!!
I AM SOOOO HAPPY with this shop. Everyone is nice. It's like family going to Michael Scott Salon in Plantation. From the owner, who goes the absolute extra mile to make sure everyone is happy...to the manicurists...shampoo people...I cannot say enough about the warm atmosphere. I recommend this salon very highly!!!
Stylist Didn't Follow My Instructions – I went into this salon as a walk in client. I am growing my hair out and just wanted to trim my bangs and clean up the back. I told the stylist this but she went crazy and cut off all the length on the top. Now I am back where I started! I will never return.
Very friendly – Brittanie was wonderful to my 4-year-old daughter and gave her an awesome haircut. Very patient. Got lots of compliments.
What a great Salon Experience – Oh my God I never received so many compliments on my hair, I went to pick up my son from school and was told how healthy my hair looked, I went over my inlaws house and they wanted to know what happened have I went on vacation without the kids and their son. My co-workers ask me where I had my hair done and I almost did not want to tell them, it's my secret. Well I told them Michael Scott so get ready for some business. Oh by the way I am your new biggest fan thanks Sari for the wonderful job on my hair.
It will take at least a year to grow out the damage – I went to this salon after reading the one good review. What I wanted was simple: I wanted the ends shaped on my shoulder-length hair, and I wanted as little length taken off as possible, since I wear my hair up in a twist all the time. My hair is thick and has lots of curl. The stylist suggested long layers, and I said fine. She proceeded to take about three inches of length off, and to cut layers at angle, starting long at the front and ending short at the back, as though she was going to cut it in a wedge. Then she figured out that if she finished cutting it that way, I wasn't going to have enought length to put it up, so she left the length in the back. What's in the back now is a flat, shapeless mess with really short layers in back, but long in the front. The only fix would be to cut it short in the back, which I don't want to do, so I'm wearing my hair up in a twist until it grows out. To add insult to injury, she blow-dried it, straightened it out with a flat iron and heavily conditioned it, so I didn't realize how bad it looked until I got home and washed it so the natural curl would come out. Next time I get my hair cut (not at Michael Scott) I'll ask how long the stylist has been cutting hair.
Best Hair Salon for colors and cuts ever – Wow this is one great Hair Salon, I recently visited without an appointment and they put me with this great stylist who color and cut my hair, while I was waiting for my color to set in they were able to do my manicure and wax. This is one up scale salon not to mention the service was outstanding.
