Radioshack in Jupiter changed my life.
Outwardly the store maintains a low profile, appearing to be just another corporate-owned shop. However, as my great Aunt Jemima used to say, "never judge a book by it's cover, Skippy." The fruits of this particular store lie within, the likes of which I had never before tasted in my life.
My experience I as walked through the door:
The crisp notes of a baby grand tickle my ears, burbling from a bluetooth speaker and flowing around me as though I were a stone in a mountain stream.
I feel the cool grass between my toes as I browse the selection of SD cards, a sensation reminiscent of those summers so long ago, foraging for irradiated berries in my home country of Belarus.
At one point I felt like I was a Sith Lord, but I think I was simply tripping on the moldy smell in the store. It definitely had a "dark side" smell. Your experience may vary.
The best part of my visit was the associate who helped me. He asked me if his form pleased me. Perplexed by such an odd question, I replied "no." He then took on the form of a lion, and as I mounted his diamond-encrusted saddle, I smelled his full-bodied mane, and it smelled of coconut. Wonderful! Then we ascended through the ceiling to God's Kingdom, where I got online to post this review.
Would do business again.
Do not buy anything from this store, especially phones. After spending two hours in the store to have phones activated, a few days later we were contacted by sprint only to find out that the manager "jay" misrepresented the rebates and phone contract. After having sprint try to resolve the issue with the manager, it was apparent that canceling the phones and returning them was the best way to solve the 500.00 discrepancy. Although the store manager "jay" was called in advance and told that we would be there at a particular time, he conveniently left before we got there. "don" was the representative there at the time who immediately told us that he was not authorized to return multiple phones at which point I immediately informed him that he will call jay and get it taken care of.. After another hour in the store we left with our return receipts thinking we were done with that mess... On Sunday I decided to call sprint to be sure the contracts were cancelled and sure enough they were...all but 1 phone that is!!! Just so happens it was the most expensive phone I returned.. Sprint informed me that I would need to straighten it out with the radio shack. I called radio shack at which point "don" answers the phone and immediately tells me that he cancelled it and it's not his problem and he hangs up on me. I called back and calm explained to him that I just hung the phone up with sprint and they say only 4 phones were cancelled can you please call sprint and rectify the situation. "don" immediately starts cursing at me and telling me it's not his problem. I informed him that it will be his problem when I call the police because I believed he was trying to steal the phone. He hung up on me again. My next call was back to sprint and they put me on hold and called the store. Once they came back on the line the representative said he understood why I could not deal with the store anymore because "don" was also very rude to him.... Take it as you will.. Stay away from this store and avoid a nightmare!!!
When it comes to selection, the Kmart of electronics carries practically every tech goody under the sun. – In Short
