Awful, don't waste your time and money – It was an an awful dining experience. We will never go there again. Waitress was slow, distracted. I sent back a bad beer, it tasted like soap. Got a different brand, it was stale. My wife's crab cakes smelled strange. We told the waitress, she did nothing. She actually said "I hope everything was enjoyable" when she gave me the check. Unbelievable. there are too many good places in Brandon to waste time and money here.

Good Food - Questionable Service – Ordered a sandwich, which was really good. All the sides were fresh. I sat at the bar, when some of the bartenders friends came in, it seemed like everybody else didn't even exsist. I had to eventually call the bartender over just to pay my bill. Just bad for service. It did affect the tip....ZERO.

Brandon Ale House was terrible!! – This place was terrible. This is the second time I have been to this place and both times were really bad. First of all, we ordered XX and both times it turns out the beer was expired, then we ordered a pitcher of Blue Moon and guess what, that beer is expired too. What worse is that they knew the beer was expired and served it to us anyway. We actually got our food and ate it before the waitress came with the 2nd pitcher of bad beer. The food wasn't that great either. I am never going there again. Bad service, bad food and worse bad beer. You have been warned.

This is a nice place to eat, relax, and unwind in Brandon. – My wife and I had never been to the Ale House before so we decided to give it a try.

They have about 30 beers on tap, including my favorite, Newcastle Brown Ale, and a nice collection of mixed and tropical drinks.

The menu offers a a good variety of foods to choose from, including soups, salads, steaks, seafood, sandwiches, and burgers, along with some nice deserts.

Another thing I really appreciated was that there were no TVs or music blaring to prevent my wife and I from enjoying our conversation over dinner.

The service was excellent and our waitress, Renee (sp??), was attentive and more than happy to tell us about the history and locations of the Miller Ale Houses. It was so nice to have someone waiting on the table that actually enjoyed speaking with and helping people and that was also so very positive and upbeat about the resturant that employed her.

I highly recommend this place! It is a sort of like a sports or beach bar but with a nice touch of class.

With more than 30 beers on tap, including some exotic selections, patrons keep coming back. – The Scene
The televisions that dot the perimeter are always tuned to sporting events, but it's not overkill on the sports scene. With a few shelves of sports memorabilia for sale, two pool tables and a handful of video games it has the sports flavor but it's a place the non-sports lover can also enjoy.

The Food
The Ale House is proud of its raw bar featuring clams on the half shell or steamed ($7.95 a dozen), oysters ($6.95 a dozen) and shrimp ($8.95 half pound). But don't be afraid to try their always improving seafood entrees ($9.95) or burgers ($5.95).

What to Order
Just about all the seafood is good, and it comes prepared in all your favorite ways (fried, breaded, broiled, blackened, grilled, over pasta and of course raw.) If you're looking for a quick hit or a take out, try their signature zingers (boneless chicken wings) in one of eight sauces.

What to Skip
Their new menu addition, jambalaya, is decent but it won't do much to remind you of New Orleans.

the fun place – burgers at the ale house are huge and delicious. as a matter of fact, all the food there is great. i have tried many of the choices but i usually go back to the burger. the service there is friendly and fast. the food comes out hot and fresh. i love the ale house!
