Worst dining experience EVER! – I have never been to an establishment ran as poorly as Angelina's in Brandon Florida! The service was non-existent, the owner was annoyingly narcissistic, and the food was over priced and pedestrian at best. I've honestly had better Italian food in the form of a microwave meal purchased at Publix.
If someone gave me an option to be waterboarded for 30 minutes or live through another experience at Angelina's, I would choose waterboarding hands down. At least with waterboarding they'll acknowledge your existence, you won't have to pay to get tortured, and it might even taste good.
I don't usually write reviews but this time I felt like it was my duty to humanity. Avoid this place at all costs!
Overpriced, medicore food, AWFUL service – Horrible service from no waitress the entire time (the busboy helped us and we had to ask the owner for a check and take our order and the owner was awful in about every way, very put off). The food was WAY Overpriced for border line nasty food. Drive 10 more minutes to Ybor to Laughing Cat!
Do not eat in this place – The owner is Anthony Cimino and he is a child molester and child rapist.
He molested and raped a little girl several times and got away with it.
He did this to more then one little girl.
He left New York because of what he's done.
Anybody that eats in his restaurant is a supporter of child molesters.
He is a fat pig wannabe gangster with no morals.
No not support him by eating in his restaurant.
Excellent chicken fettucini – My girl and I swung by and had a wonderful plate of fettucini with excellent salads, and numerous drinks. What a night, it was a nice dark romantic setting, and the waitresses were both very nice and attentive. Prices were a little steep but well worth it. We were all eating off each others plates and were never charged a split fee. So be careful, dont use the word Split anywhere you go because to a lot of restaurants it means 7 dollars. Just eat off each others plates, ok. Nice place, I have been there 3 times now, always delish.
THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN TAMPA – BEING FROM BROOKLYN NEW YORK AND MOVING DOWN TO TAMPA FLORIDA IT HAS BEEN REALLY HARD TO FIND A ITALIAN RESTAURANT WITH REALLY GOOD ITALIAN FOOD.I SEEN ANGELINA ITALIAN RESTAURANT TV COMMERCIAL ON BRIGHTHOUSE WHILE I WAS WATCHING THE NEWS AND I SEEN THE COMMERCIAL OF THERE RESTAURANT.I WENT THERE THE NEXT DAY WITH MY FAMILY OF 7 AND FROM START TO FINISH IT WAS THE BEST EXPIEIENCE IN MY LIFE EATING THERE.THE FOOD IS FRESH AND IT IS DELICIOUS.THE FISH IS PERFECT,THE STEAK IS MADE TO YOUR PERFECTION,THE MENU HAS ALL MY FAVORITES ON IT,AND I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO ORDER FIRST.MY KIDS HAD THE $12.99 BUY 1 GET 1 FREE SPAGETTI AND MEATBALLS,AND IT WAS ENOUGH TO FEED 4 PEOPLE.THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE AND ANTHONY THE OWNER WHO WAS PRESENT WHEN I WAS THERE IS VERY FRIENDLY AND MADE US FEEL LIKE WE WAS HOME.FIVE STARS FOR THIS ITALAIN RESTAURANT AND I WILL BE GOING BACK THERE FOR EVER! ANYBODY WHO HAS ANYTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE HAS GOT TO BE HIS COMPETITION OR SOMETHING TO THAT NATURE.
LOVE this place – I love this place. We dine here frequently and by chance did I stumble upon this website. Anyone who doesn't like the food here is crazy. Being Italian I know food and this is delicious!!!! From the wonderful bread to the seafood and sauces. Everyone has a bad day and some of you who say you were treated rudely, probably deserved it! Question - do you write reviews on the places you like too? or just complain about the ones you don't? One out of 100 actually write this stuff soooooo many others would have to disagree. They have been around for years - as long as I have been in Brandon. soo - they can't be that bad! I have always had great service and the owner just takes some getting to knowing. He makes dishes for us that aren't even on the menu!! Can't get that from Olive Garden.
Incredible Italian Cuisine – The Veal Marsala melted in my mouth and I was impressed with how reasonable the prices were too. I'm originally from NYC and have had the opportunity to dine at many different Italian restaurants there. I am convinced that Angelina's is as good, if not better than most Italian restaurants in little Italy
Terrible Owner worst food ever – I saw this place from the road decided to eat there what a mistake , waited 20 min for a menu , to find out food was not only awful but overpriced. Owner tries to be like tony soprano very unprofessial , olive garden is better then this place. I am 100 percent siclian this place , is not homemade gravy, or pasta probably chef boyarde. don't eat there
All around disappointment – Although our first visit to Angelina's was good enough to cause us to return for a second try, the second effort was extremely disappointing. The ravioli was drowned in red sauce and the chicken parm was a bit tough but the real kicker was the shoe-leather like veal -- totally unacceptable for any restaurant. To make matters worse, the owner/manager didn't even have the courtesy to stop by to express his condolences. The waitress -- who promised to convey our concern to the manager -- didn't bother to tell us what the manager set . No adjustment, no apologies. Just a suggestion from the waitress that we could have a box to take the leftover veal home with us. No thanks. Angelina's is off our list.
Great food, bad professionalism by owner – My wife and I go to this restaurant quite frequently, we absolutely love the food. We did stop going for a while, however, because the big fat owner was extremely rude to us and yelled at our waitress (that was by far the best waitress in the place) because I was letting my wife try a bite of my food and she didn't want to charge us a sharing fee of ($7) which is ridiculous anyways. The rest of the meal was awkward and we felt bad that our waitress got embarrassed so bad because she was such a nice person. Needless to say we still go back after about 6 months of boycotting because my pregnant wife was craving it, but not as much as we used to. The fat guy needs to wake up and realize he is not living in NYC and is not the leader of the mafioso, maybe he needs to stop eating so much of his own garlic bread and look in the mirror. Food is excellent, but stay away from the fat guy with the cannoli in his front pocket.
