Best my hair has been in years – I visited d'amico hair lounge as a treat to myself for my birthday. I requested Jessica because I had read some of the reviews about her online. Everyone was very nice and even wished me a happy birthday when I told them what I was doing. I waited in the lobby for a few minutes, Jessica did greet me and said she'd be with me in a few moments. I could see she was a very busy stylist, however she kept her word and had me into her chair before I could even have a sip of my wine that the front desk clerk offered. Right away I felt comfortable with Jessica and we discussed together what colors and styles would work best for me, and her concern for the "health" of my hair was genuine. She made me feel so special and confident with our choice. I will tell you that I haven't seen my hair look this beautiful in years! I've been getting compliments left and right and I must say that I really gave myself a treat choosing this salon and stylist. I will be a loyal customer for years to come. Thank You so much Jessica for making my birthday so beautiful.
OMG! This place SUCKS! – I made the mistake of going to this salon based on a few decent reviews I found online- now I've come to realize that the owner herself- Jessica, must have written them, or had her friends do it. If you'll notice, the good reviews seem to mention her name. Well, let me tell you, she was VERY rude and unprofessional! Her salon is OUTRAGEOUSLY priced and my hair has never looked WORSE! I will never set foot in this "salon" again! Please, look for a better salon. This place is NOT "Brandon's hidden little gem" as someone posted. Do not go here, THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!!!
This place is FABULOUS!!!!! – I just had my hair done recently and it is the best color I have gotten in so long. Jessica Damico is fabulous!!!!!! This is a hidden little gem in Brandon. Worth the drive if you are in Tampa. I have been to the "Best of Tampa" salons in South Tampa and had really bad experiances with my color and I feel totally comfortable with her. She even took the time to give me the pros and cons of different procedures. Definatly a knowledgable stylist. This is a fabulous place!
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – I had a HORRIBLE experience with this salon! They completely screwed up my hair! The color is AWFUL- BRASSY AND FRIED, and way too short!!! The owner was very rude to me about fixing it. They just lost what would have been a great customer- and it looked like they needed the business. I am VERY disappointed. I hate my hair and they don't care that I paid almost $200 to get it done and did not get anywhere close to what I was asking for! It is very disappointing because my stylist was nice. Though my hair is screwed up, I would have given her another chance. Too bad the owner wouldn't fix it- very selfish, rude and unprofessional. Please do not go here. I regret ever walking in the door!
For a great hair stylist.... – You have to visit Donna. She is awesome, proffessional, friendly, and good. She knows what she is doing and how to do it. If you are looking for a good stylist come see her. I have been searching forever! I found a great stylist at Toni & Guy but they shut down. The girls at Divine Designs are a little snooty-and have no reason to be. But all in all, for a great do-Donna will hook it up!
