Great food and service – I went to this restaurant and i ordered ribs, they were really delicious, and the waiter who was attending my friend and i was very friendly, she treated us very nice and she brought us this hot brown bread that i dont remember the name but i still can remember the taste, and she kept bringing bread knowing that we really liked it and she didnt charge them, and i mention that because i think she had to do it according to the menu and she didnt forget, it is just she wanted to be nice with us. then the ribs came, they were hot, not cold, juicy, i really enjoyed it. the atmosphere is friendly, at the beggining i felt a bit intimidated because everything looks serious and rustic, but the waiters make you feel like in home. something curious, the waiter who attended me looked like Nelly Furtado.

manager D.G. in NORTHRIDGE,CA. – times are tough 4 me right now but i decided 2 treat myself 2 outback.i ordered online & used the curb side take out.i got my food and drove home which was about a 25 min ride round trip and obviously my gas cost which is sky high right now.i took out my food and was very disappointed to find my well down ribeye i ordered was rare & bloody.i lost my apetite even though i could have MICROWAVED it.well i still had my salad that came with it i could eat 4 dinner except then i found out there was no salad dressing.i was pretty upset so i called & spoke 2 the manager {D.G.} she understood & apologized.d.g. asked 4 my address 2 send me a gift certificate.i was expecting maybe a free salad or app.i was surprisingly happy 2 find out it was enough for another meal.i just wanted 2 say even though my order was not right manager D.G. made it right with me & wanted 2 thank her for making it right. i would defintely go back ,lisa

Not coming back – Cooks screwed up my order on both of our recent visits. Both times manager came and apologized, but it was too late. We waited a long time to be seated, and then waited for the food. My burger came on a Childs burger bun one time. (We ordered a kids burger for our child, so we knew what a Childs burger bun was like), and the second time, the meat was burnt, when I asked for medium rare.

We have never gone back, and never will.

Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor. – In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

Worst Outback Restaurant ever! – The worst Outback I've ever been to. Don't waste your money!

The baked potato is not realy baked, more like boiled, and not all the way thru. The steak is cold and soggy and I have never seen a baked potato soup that watered down! If you want a steak go to Chris Ruth or Morton's, yes it is more expansive, but you will get a good steak.

Outstanding Service! – I have been to several Outback Steakhouse restaurants throughout California and the service is by far the best in the Northridge location. The food is always good no matter which one we eat at, but the service in Northridge makes us drive a little bit further than the one that is nearest to us. Their steaks are great but their saads are wonderful as well.
