Best Shrimp Scampi. This was the best seafood restaurant I ate at all vacation!

We found it while driving around Tampa looking for a restaurant and look up some reviews and saw they were all positive so decided to try it and so glad that we did.

The host greeted us friendly and offered us a choice of seating as they were not full at that point. The menu had a lot of choices but was not overwhelming. The prices were excellent and they had a lot of fresh fish choices. Our waitress was also very friendly as was the rest of the staff. There was a large table in front of us and our waitress put our order in first so that we wouldn't have a long wait which I thought was great and extremely thoughtful.

I ordered the crab cake trio which came with fresh veggies and rice. The veggies were firm but soft enough to eat and fresh. The rice was well seasoned as were the crab cakes and the special dipping sauce for them was great. It was spicy but not overwelming and added a great additional flavor.

My husband ordered the shrimp scampi which was a dozen shrimp over rice with a fantastic light sauce. I would have ordered a second bowl of that b/c it was outstanding. I rarely order scampi out because I don't find it flavorful enough but...I would drive from New York to Florida for that scampi.

The bread was also fresh and actually hot when it came out of the kitchen and they put the butter under the bread so that it would soften which was a great touch. The sweet tea was also great - not too sweet and not too dry - perfect.

The prices were great, food was excellent, the restaurant was clean, portions were not overly large and the staff was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and engaging.

Best place I ate on my vacation.
