I had the worst experience at all about puppies, largo location, and the owner Regina Galloway. To begin, they gave me the wrong paperwork for my puppy originally and then gave me new paperwork for him which was not completed. For instance, the day I purchased my puppy the individual at all about puppies, named Jason gave my puppy a parvo booster. 4 days later I went to the vet in accordance to their warranty and the vet was going to give my dog another parvo booster because they had not recorded it on his paperwork. I called the location to find out how I could get the information that was not completed on my dogs paperwork. I spoke to kailin, who sounded shocked as to my situation even though she was also present the day the dog was sold to me. She gave me Regina's number, which I must add is the customer service line, and I had to leave 3 messages over the span of a week before I got a returned call. And once I spoke to her all I got was a nasty attitude and got hung up on. This establishment is not professional at all, is disorganized, has zero care for clients, and is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
Never buy a puppy from All About Puppies. A class action lawsuit against them needs to happen . Yes the puppies do come from puppy mills. So to the last post, I got the cold hard facts, not only do they come from puppy mills, they are breaking the law by shipping and transporting the puppies into the state under 7 weeks old. They forge the Certifacte of health form and employes not under supervision of a certified veterinarian administer the injections. So they are breaking the law again. They state you must use the Vets they state on the contract, but buy law you can use your on vet, if your puppy is sick and within the contract time period. But beware, the owner will not reimburse your vet bills and will tell you that because you did not use their vet. That's bs there is a law that protects the consumer. I did extensive research on the law in Florida, after my puppy became ill, when the owner refused to pay the vet bills. If you have had this happen, call the Florida Department of Agriculture, make a complaint, take the owner to small claims court. No one has ever stood up to the owner of All About Puppies, but I won't stop. They need to be shut down. They need to change the name to All About Money.
All About Puppies..well,it's a great place.Dunno why people are hating on it,definitely recommend it.They receive proper and much required vet care to maintain their health.Their papers aren't "lost",they are always there,so idk what you guys are talking about from a year ago.I bought my puppy 2 years ago but that was from another All About Puppies, the 1 in Largo.Idk why All About Puppies is rated 2.7 stars while Petland is rated 3.7,even though Petland is actually the 1 selling endless amounts of puppies from puppy mills. The last time I visited Petland, some of the puppies there looked sick in their eyes,it was sad to even look at the 1s that were unfortunately sick. While only some of the lucky puppies weren't sick, they were still all from puppy mills.Petland says that they "don't support puppy mills" and all that. And you people are saying that All About Puppies are supporting puppy mills, but not Petland? You guys who say that are...well,no offense, but stupid.Unaware, there, that's the word, unaware. And I'm not unaware of all of the sick puppy mills out there. The puppies ARE NOT bad quality.Jeez people, start faving the comments that are all like "PUPPIES HERE AT ALL ABOUT PUPPIES ARE VERY VERY BAD QUALITY!!!" because that's FALSE.And I'm actually the owner of an All About Puppies puppy (or dog now, lol) like I said before.Oh and the only reason puppies get sick there is because they're in open crates,in which case a sickness can easily spread from 1 puppy to another.Guys, even the most reputable pet shop, and I can assure you this, can't stop any puppy from getting sick.Puppies there are at open crates, while Petland puppies are at small enclosed windows, the luckier larger puppies are in larger windows (because they're larger).Btw @mono20 they DO NOT beat the puppies there, nice try.And at @Christina W. A puppy mill in MO? Are you sure you're not talking about Petland or some other place?
I bought the cutest puppy there a week ago. After I bought him, learned he was from a puppy mill in MO. The midwest doesn't have laws against puppy mills. Took him to the vet in the first 4 days and he just had an ear infection. Got ear drops and brought him home. A week later, he had double lung pneumonia and died. He started coughing at 10 AM in the morning and was dead by evening. Devastating. Still crying. My 7 year old is still crying. So sad. Vet said that the puppy mill over-vaccinates them which suppressed his immune system. Then the puppies are stressed by being shipped across country (to Florida). Then he was introduced to a slew of viruses at the puppy shop. The incubation period is 3 weeks, so don't think that you are out of the woods til a month out of the store. He was doing well. Eating, playing, barking at his reflection and just died. I read similar stories on this website. Puppy mills have poor health conditions. Puppies should be isolated from other dogs after vaccinations to prevent getting viruses. Viruses suppress the immune system and make the vulnerable to viruses which live in the puppy store and in their vents. I loved the dog. I am just crushed. Won't buy another dog from a puppy store. Only a breeder from now on. Vet told me breeders are the only way to go.
Their dogs do come from puppy mills, I have proof. I bought a dog (couldn't read the info on the breeder as they "forgot" to fill some in). I called because by law they have to tell you. My dog came from Nick Menne in Lime Springs Iowa (just google it). After seeing pics and people trying to shut it down I realized this place sells PUPPY MILL PUPPIES. It was my own fault for not checking first and I will NOT make that mistake again. I love our Lexi but she has had many health problems and now I know why. Also the dogs are APR certified and after looking more into that I realized it is a certification most Puppy Mills use. They claim they "lost" the dogs papers but hey are "sure" it's a pure-breed. Basically its a farce.
My family and I love our English Bulldog we purchased from All About Puppies 6 months ago. Tank is a great dog and we will recommend this store to any of our friends who are looking for a dog.
Great Experience!! – I am happy to say that my Yorkshire Terrier "Stella" is a happy, healthy 2 year old dog that I purchased from All About Puppies on Dale Mabry. I am very satisfied with my purchase and have recommended the store to several of my friends who are looking for a dog. Thank you All About Puppies for the wonderful addition to our family!!
Cute Puppies - VERY BAD QUALITY! – I got a puppy 2 years ago from the Tampa location. A cute little male Chihuahua. He was sick with an upper respiratory infection so I took him to their prescribed vet and no problem. However, he has brain damage. I had him checked out by my own trusted vet and spent the money on x-rays of his skull since I suspected something was wrong. He wasn't acting like a normal puppy. The owner refused to assist with payment at the prescribed vet. My vet informed me that he was hit so hard in the head that he was concussed. He has fractures on his tiny skull all over. He's such a dear boy, but he will never be the same. He is 2 now and never learned to be toilet trained. He wears a diaper always. I must also mention that he cost $1,090. I fear that the owner did something to this dog. BE WARNED!
do not buy from a pet store. – Do not buy a dog from a petstore. These puppies come from puppy mills. The employees here may say that these dogs are high quality and come from small, certified breeders but in reality, they come from these horrific breeding facilities. The mothers of these dogs spend their lives in cages being bred over and over again which means their offspring are more prone to sickness and disease. Maybe thats why they put a one year warrenty on the puppies they sell? Anyone who cares about their animals would NEVER put a warrenty on a real, living animal. They are not replaceable.
The insane prices for these dogs is rediculous too. Adopt from a shelter or humane society. If you buy a puppy from here you obvously have not done your research. Go to the ASPCA and look up pet stores and they will bring you directly to a puppy mill information page. Regardless of what the owner or employees say, they get their puppies from puppy mills. Adopt your next dog because those are the ones who need a loving home.
