estella's mexican resturant. We have been going to the Estella's located on south Dale Mabry for 3 years and I must say they have gone down hill tremendously. They use to have the best 'rita's in town, now they are barely drinkable and cost over $7.50 each. Don't know if they changed their mixer or tequila....but HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! Also, we have noticed a downhill with their food. we will not be going back there again..too bad bcause it use o be our fave place to go and always bragging on the place, not any more.
No good. If you look at estellas website you can see a menu online. If you actually try to order food while you are there it gets more interesting. Under drinks there are many choices:coffee, juices etc.. however they serve only coke products or alcoholic beverages.. service is no good..food is no good..why go?
Food OK if you can live with the poor service. I live on Davis Islands and visit Estella's fro time to time. The food here is traditional Mexican fare, no where near over the top. The surroundings and decor are homegrown with seating outside by the sidewalk. This restaurant would deserve an average grade if it weren't for it its continuous poor customer service. I have eaten there no less than six times and each has been a frustration in bad service from the wait staff: wrong order delivered, missed order entirely, incorrect order delivered. Were this one instance I would pass it off to a "bad day", but the one thing Estellas excels in is poor wait service and kitchen staff. I still eat at Estallas on Davis Islands, but know going in the food will be ok, but the bad service comes with it.
