A place where "fun" and "educational" don't have to be mutually exclusive concepts..
Brain Teasers
Hands-on means mind and body must work together to test human endurance levels, artistically alter light, manipulate sound and plug into energy principles. Easy-to-follow guidelines make these exhibits fun, not frustrating.
Kid City
Exhibits that beg to be played with, cheerful primary colors, and benches and water fountains specifically designed for the zerosomething set: This is kid utopia.
Tunnel Vision
Not necessarily child's play, youngsters under 7 must bypass the mind-boggling maze, and claustrophobics best pass on it as well. Touchy-feely types love to worm their way out of the dark, 90-foot-long Touch Tunnel winding through the Pier's Great Explorations Museum. Those who dare to penetrate the darkness lose all sense of direction before giggling and wiggling toward the light at the end of the tunnel.
