Let me first say I happened upon this site by accident. I agree there is "NO" excuse for rudeness! Let me personally apologize if you feel you were disrespected in any manner. I have known Mike Thomas for many, many years. Mike came to this country from Jamaica when he was 17 years old. He went to work at Kneeland TV straight out of Travis VoTech. He was a young man in a new country try to find his way. Mike is a very hard worker and probably one of the best electronic technicians in this area. Mike has a very good heart and would bend over backwards to help anyone. Mike has a very strong Jamaican accent, he does tend to speak fast and loud which might make a person think he is angry. I am very sure his action were not intended to upset anyone. I am also very certain if Mike knew he upset you he would be the first to apologize. Mike has been like a son to my husband and I for all of these years. I am not trying to sugar coat anything and everyone has a right to their own opinion and the freedom to take their business wherever they wish. Sometime in life we find people who we are not compatible with. Maybe this is the basis of the situation here. God Bless you all and I wish everyone peace and happiness in their lives. Life is to short to be unhappy!

TV repair – I have used Kneeland several times, my dad and sisters use him as well. He has always done a great job for us.
Fast courteous service – I called and talked to Mike. He said I had to bring my TV in. I did and asked if anyone could help me carry the TV in. He carried it in himself. The TV was ready for pickup the next day. He and I loaded it. Mike has an accent which I think accounts for him appearing rude. He was very nice to me, but sometimes appears otherwise because of his phrasing. He did a good job for a decent price and was very helpful. I will go there again if the need arises.
GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR TV REPAIR!!!! – BAD customer service! Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone! Paid the standard $45 fee (okay, normal) to have the TV checked out. We were told it would be $300+ to fix (okay, a lot of $ for a 7 year old TV, that has been fixed once already). Went to p/u TV (never told them one way or another we were going to have it fixed). When we had arrived to p/u the TV, they had already replaced a bad bulb. We told “Mike” we were picking it up, we might have it fixed at a later date, but right now really couldn’t afford to pay $300+. “Mike” with immediate attitude, said he had already replaced the bulb. My husband asked him a couple questions, while he was removing the bulb in front of us…finally “Mike” curtly answered one of the questions. We left the shop and both my husband and I agreed that if we had to drive 100 miles to have a TV fixed/looked at again -- we would drive anywhere besides then this place. Sorry to have inconvenienced you “Mike”, but after all you did receive the $45 fee to take 10-15 minutes to look at the TV!?
RUDE RUDE RUDE – My husband and i called to have our flat screen tv repaired and Randy came out to pick it up. He was nice enough and very quick to take care of things. I received a messag from him that the TV was done and called him back 2 minutes later. Mike (apparently the owner) answered the phone and started raising his voice telling me that Randy already left and theres nothing he could do about it. I asked him why he was being rude to me and then he started YELLING at me telling me he wasnt being rude ( contradiction of the year). I asked to speak to a manager and he said he was the owner. He continued to yell at me explaining he wasnt being rude and finally called Randy to see if he could drop off the tv. I have no idea where this came from.I am a very polite person and did nothing to provoke this behavior. Because our TV is under warranty and we didnt really have a say in who fixed it, i cant really do anything except put this story out there in hopes that others will read it and think twice about working with this idiot.
