Horrible – I called the store on Wednesday, 7/21/10 to inquire about 2 screen doors for my house. Nancy took down the measurements quoted me a price and asked for my credit card number. I asked her to send a serviceman over to make sure that my measurements were correct - which she said would be free of charge. The guy came over on Friday, 7/23/10 - 1 hour later than was expected. He measured the windows and said that he'd be back in a couple of hours to install my screens. He came back 4 hours later and installed my screen doors - which did NOT fit. He removed them and said that he would have to take them to the store to fix and he'd be right back. A few hours later he came back with a receipt in hand and told me that I had to sign the receipt before he would install the screen doors. We argued back and forth - I got tired and gave in - I signed the receipt. He installed the screen doors - which still did NOT fit again. There are 2 big gaps on the bottom which allows insects to get into the house. I later realized that Nancy had charged me not only for the screen doors - but an additional $80 for a service call and an additional $78.25 to fix the serviceman's own mistake with the measurements! I was appalled by their crappy service and their lack of customer service! Not only will I never return to them but I will contact the Better Business Bureau and report them for FRAUD!!!
Unacceptable – We chose Nancy's because of the price...cheapest place around.
However, we paid for the cheapest place around.
For the initial estimate we had scheduled, the guy showed up 2 hours late. I had to call and leave a message with the company, who must have paged him. He said he'd be here in 20 minutes and it was 45 later that he showed up. Then we weren't actually GIVEN an estimate. We were told we'd be called. I waited a few days, then called in. The person who answered the phone said Nancy would call me right back. She either never got the message or talked to someone at a different house because we never got it.
Finally I had my husband call to schedule the appointment. We waited a full hour for someone to show up and then had to call in again and say "where is our screen door?" The person HAD NOT EVEN LEFT THE OFFICE. Again, two hours late. After my husband had expressly asked them to call and confirm (they didn't, but my husband did) and to call when they were on their way (no call happened). Then to top it all off, they couldn't get the lock on my screen door to work. I'm pretty sure it still doesn't work.
I can't believe we paid for this...I was basically imprisoned in my house for four hours today waiting for someone to come and then waiting for the job to get done. This is truly an unacceptable way to run a business.
Great place to get all you need – The owners Nancy and her husband Arnold were very nice, they both know there business and gets price quotes back in a timely fashion. Her staff were very professional.
Done right the first time!. – I have to say it is so nice to be able to get what you need and have it done right.I highly recommend Reseda Glass for all your Glass needs.
