Owner is a Piece of work – Service is BAD, drinks are WEAK.Owner Bobby is a FAT Slob. If your thinking about going to this place DON'T. I had some girlfriends meet me there the owner Bobby kept starring at us like a total PERV, an the other owner Peter took 10 min to make our drinks Incorrectly and there was only 12 ppl in the whole place.Don't waste your time or money. FYI the parking is in a back alley NOT SAFE
Horrible service – This place is a dive and the owner is a horrible business man and will rip you off. Seriously. If he doesn't like you, he'll tell the bartender to start overcharging you (I saw it happen, not to me). If he doesn't feel you're drinking enough, he'd rather have you overcharged and never come back than be a consistant customer. Horrible. Don't go. It's mostly empty and it's easy to see why
Drunken owner and lazy bartender – Pretty sad establishment when the owner is drunk and sits at the bar all day....nite time bartender more busy trying to bend over as much as possible so her bought and paid for cleavage can be seen and you have to ask continuously for a drink when there is only two other patrons in the bar.....prices for drinks are more than where there is a good crowd with good free happy hour food and first class music at nite....skip this place and go to the Sugar Mill just off of Reseda and Ventura
Divey – I walked in, and walked out. It wasn't because a sociopath sitting at the bar immediately gave me a dirty look, or that the place was pretty empty, or that it looked like someone converted a really ugly industrial strip mall space into a bar, it was because, thankfully, they didn't have anything to munch on with a beer. Thank goodness. That place was INDEED bleak.
Daddy's Little Dive Bar – I found that the place was litterally a "hole in the wall" (stuffed in a strip mall in an out of the way part of the city). David's Den didn't impress me but that was to be expected - from the moment I walked in it was clear to me that it was a dive, offering little more than a bleak place to cause trouble. Tough crowd? - No. Bad Service? - Not really, just below average. What was the problem? Simple - management acts like children. In fact, I witnessed the owner's own son - perhaps 30 - try to bully a man without cause. When confronted by the man and challenged, the owner's son was saved by Daddy and his bouncers. I did not get a good vibe from this place - at all. To me, it was a waste of time and money.
