One of Atlanta's original burrito joints. RB-Decatur has trivia nights, a cool patio and a lively bar.

Raging Burrito's tacos are addictive and I have always had great service for 9 years!!! – I was just reading the reviewer below and saw the person, who wrote its history of not liking any where he or she has eaten. I happen to be of the exact opposite opinion of you. Raging Burrito is my families favorite casual restaurant in Atlanta. We have been going since they opened in decatur in 1999.It has excellent service and strong margaritas and alot of good beers on tap. I cannot get enough of their fish tacos!! I also enjoy all the other decatur places adecaturite dislikes so intensely. If the person hates that all the decatur families go out on friday night why not go eat in another part of town on that night or just consider moving. I have lived in decatur for 15 years and I love it. Go eat at all the places this person hates. They are all great! I would avoid friday nights though because the kids are let loose to run wild around all of these resturants.

GREAT FOOD – If you like burritos then you need to get to this spot. The food is the bomb. The only thing negative i can say about Raging is we more locations, we drive from Duluth.

Just tried the tacos and we loved them. Best Sweetwater deal in the City. – We have been enjoying Raging Burrito's tasty, unique burritos since they opened in 1996 or it may have been early 97. I just found out Raging Burrito now has Baja Fish tacos and we went to try them last night and we think they are amazing. We also tried their new portobello fajita and shredded beef tacos which we also loved. We had friendly service on their large garden back patio. The patio has a beautiful, huge mural of the mona lisa drinking a Margarita. My wife was surprised by how many beers they had on draft.(16 I think it was on tap) She ended up choosing a Sweetwater 420 Ale. The server told us their 5 Sweetwater beers on tap are 2.75 a pint on Mon to Wed.(Great Deal we will return soon for!) I had the best Texas Margarita I have had in many years. It had the perfect mix of sour and not too sweet. We had our first night out without our children in a while and we were very glad to go back to Raging Burrito after not going for a while. We will return soon to try the other Tacos and try some other Sweetwaters on special.

BEST TACOS!!!!!! – Last night was my first visit to the Raging Burrito, I ordered the fish and shredded beef taco platter and I have to say that they were by far the best tacos that I've ever had! Not bland like most of the tacos of other restaurants that I have tried, these were unique and full of flavor. My margarita was perfect too, not too sweet or watered down tasting, I used to be a bartender so I'm really picky. The service was also excellent, our server was very friendly and efficient. Over all a great experience, I will definitely be back!

delicious food, super service, fun atmosphere! – Ate at Raging Burrito for the first time last night with my friends and I have to say, we totally loved it. the Patio was packed, the bar was packed, and we know why. We started off with an appetizer trio, and the guacamole was by far the best I've ever had. Our waitress talked us into trying the vegetarian chili con queso and I'm hooked - had to order another one. I had a Horney Margarita that was off the chain, and a Bangkok burrito - amazing! My friend had the 3 taco plate with one fish, one beef, and the fajita veggie taco and he said each one was delicious. My other friend built her own Monster Quesadilla with Jerk-seasoned tofu, portabello mushrooms, and sundried tomatoes. I'm not a vegetarian by any stretch of the imagination, but I tried a bite and loved it! It was wonderful. Our waitress was busy, every seat on the patio was full, and she still did an amazing job attending to our needs - fast, friendly, and efficient - never saw anyone stop moving for a minute. They were on the ball! Now that the construction in the Decatur Square is done and the weather is beautiful, we will back soon for sure to try more delicious food and to check out some of the drink specials. We may even come back this Thursday to check out team trivia! I love this place!

Best Burritos, WORST service – We went to the Raging Burrito tonight in Decatur. Last time we went, we had horribly slow service, but you know, that was one time and I figured we should give it a second chance.

Well, wrong.

Our waitress was rude, didn't know how to split checks, another waitress did 80% of her work, and we ended up having a disproportionate amount of gratuity added to our checks. This is after I gave her a heads up that we were all separate when we first arrived, and she acted indignant about what I was trying to do to help her.

So, we get our checks back, and Callie who had a $6.00 tab, had a $13.95 bill - over 100% gratuity. We bring the manager over and she says the only option is to rerun all of the checks. Someone screwed up, and the gratuity should be taken off completely from Callie?s check, especially considering it took over 45 minutes to get our checks back in the first place.

?No, ma?am that is entirely unreasonable.?

?I?m sorry, all I can do it split her gratuity between another card.?

?No. That is not a reasonable option at all.?

I said basically, in civility, from this point, everything except for ?F- you.?

But I didn?t.

?I need a phone number for the owner, your name, and the waitress?s name.?

She comes back, having hastily written down the information, and slams it down on the table next to me.

I can wholeheartedly say - I really have no desire to go back to Raging Burrito again, and I wouldn?t recommend that anyone go there. Their food is great, I?ll give them that, but that is the second time in a row that I?ve gotten really crappy service by one power-tripping manager. If I were the owner, I would definitely take a long look at my management staff and figure out what?s going wrong.

Do not eat at the Raging Burrito. You will only end up regretting the crappy service. As a manager myself, I would have cut my losses and given back gratuity on that check, which is entirely reasonable. At least you keep more of a customer base.

Best Burrito in Town – My first time at Raging Burritto I didn't know what to expect, but the burrito was huge and the ingredients delicious. Very fresh too. Lots of choices to make your burrito your way. Add lots of what you like and leave off what you don't like. I've since been back many times. Line may back up at lunchtime but it usually moves pretty fast.

great variety of burritos, excellent service – Raging Burrito is an great low-key place to have a bite to eat and a drink with friends. With the new big burrito chains like Moes, Willies and Chipolte dominating Atlanta (all with the same menu) Raging Burrito is a great alternative. They have items like barbeque chicken and jamaican burritos, and an excellent outdoor patio. They also have the best chips and guacamole in town. We went with a huge group for a birthday celebration and our server was very accomodating about us adding extra tables as our group grew.
