I love my sway! – Go at the beginning of the week to avoid crowds. Jackie did my hair and she is good and works fast.
Your hair will swing and bounce with the slightest movement, epecially when you are not trying to. It happens naturally.
You will be turning heads non-stop and feel great too! Ask for Jackie when you go.
Lilly's Hair Plus discriminates – This salon chooses the amount you will pay by the length and texture of your hair. I was paying $25.00 but when my hair grew to my shoulder they raised the price to $28.00. Every time I went the prices changed. I started to pay $28.00 for a wash and style. Then a couple of weeks ago someone tried to charge me $35.00 for the same service, she said because my hair felt to coarse.
I will never go back to Lilly's Hair Plus.
STICK TO A CONSISTENT PRICE!!! – I have been going to Lilly's on and off for nearly 10 years. I was a customer back when she had the Dominican market cornered and waiting 3 hours to see the stylist of your choice was common place.
I moved out of state and returned and began to go to her salon again. This time I had an issue withh pricing. First time I went I was charged 30.00, the next time 35, then 30 again and then 35. This flip flopping went on for several visits and I actually spoke with Lilly and told her I didn't have a problem with paying but I wanted a consistent price. She insisted that my hair was natural, it is not. She then said it was the length. My hair isn't short but it is not super long.
I think it is very rude of her to determine her pricing based on what she thinks someone can pay and then not even be consistent with it. It is merely the point. And i told Lilly this. IF it is going to be 35.00 lets make sure itis 35 EACH TIME. Not 30 the first time I come in (mind you i only come on Mondays or Tuesdays when they are super slow) and then 35.00 when you feel you need a little extra money and then 45.00.
Lilly's business has slowed up drastically and for months I wondered what in the world could be the reason.
I guess she is going to nickel and dime her regular customers because of her poor customer service skills.
Best hair stylist I have ever met – Lilly's hair plus salon it's wonderful, I love the way they treat my hair, and since I started going to lilly's my hair is more shine and easy to manage. I love to go there, it is relaxing!.

Great for the Price – If you're looking for a good place to get your hair styled for a reasonable price, Lilly's is great. The stylists are competent and the prices are reasonable. My hair is approximately three inches below my shoulers. I don't have a relaxer. Unlike some AA salons and stylists that complain about my natural hair, I've never had that issue at Lilly's. When I've gone to AA salons, they try to persuade me to get a relaxer. My hair is very thick and curly. Never ever is this a problem/issue at Lilly's. Walk-ins are the rule. I normally go on Monday or Tuesday afternoons. I'm usually out within 1.5 - 2 hours. If you go on closer to the weekends or on the weekends, the wait is longer.
