Locally Grown, Mountain Treat. True home cooking with a sensitivity to local producers. I love this place. Not only is the owner also the cook, but the menu changes daily depending on what ingredients she can find from various local farms. Vegetarian plates are very popular, but excellent chicken and beef is also available.

Food is prepared in a simple southern style with a modern twist here and there. Fresh baked muffins and corn bread are worth the visit alone. Everything from the salad dressings to the dessert is homemade.

Mustard Seed Cafe only seats 20 or so and I dont think theyre open on every day of the week, so you may want to call ahead.
