NEVER WILL I EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!!!! – Well first off I always eat here cause they're sushi is good, so I made it a point to get a group of my friends there for my birthday and we spent over 200$ with my group but we were in a rush to leave after dinner cause they were closed so My brand new birthday cake that my best friend got for me was accidently left. SO I called the very next day ask about it and they said yes we saved it, then an hour later someone called me back and said SOME OF THE STAFF ATE MY CAKE!!!!!! That wasn't even touched by my group..... So of course i went there and asked to speak to someone and niether the manager or the owner tried to talk to me they avoided me for about 10 min (Mind you I was very calm and nice about the situation) when the owner FINALLY came and talked to me I told him I was upset My cake was eaten and it was my birthday cake, I really justr wanted an apology.... but all the staff in the back ground just stood around and laughed and no one said sorry at all... and of course Then I did get very upset cause all the staff and the owner were RUDE AS HELL..... Then I asked the owner one last time can you at least compensate for something I didnt even get any of my beautiful birthday cake and I told him I ate there so I figured a gift card would be nice.... He said "YOU LEFT IT NOT MY PROBLEM".... wouldn't any other good manager or OWNER at that at least try to make it better, and I guess he dosent care about his customers so I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN, and If your looking for good customer service Then STAY FAR AWAY FROM TOKYO IN STOCKBRIDGE!!!!!
Not the best experience – After visiting 4 local Japanese Steakhouse, this one by far was the worst experience. I reserved a birthday lunch for my teenage daughter and about 7 friends 2 weeks prior to the event. I visited the location 4 days prior to meet with Alex -manager, who was a no show. Finally, the day of the event, 12noon on a Saturday, the party of 7 was assigned one newly trained waitress and the service was extremely slow. Around 1:30pm I ask the waitress if we could wrap it up because the limo was due to arrive at 2pm. She finally passed out tickets. About 5 minutes later, which was 2pm, the waitress apologized and said she had to redo all tickets because she failed to add the gratuity. At this point I'm furious because now were paying for a limo that's just sitting. I told the waitress to add the gratuity on a seperate ticket and I will pay. I handed her a $50 bill and she informed the total was $22. To add salt to the wound she ask if I needed change. WTF! Needless to say the kids did not enter the limo until 35 minutes after it arrived. WHAT A WASTE!
1 of my worst restaurant exp. EVER – This TJSH USED to be our favorite especially the sushi, however we went by and ordered our usual and were almost devastatingly disappointed. We get the same 2 rolls of sushi occasionally trying something new. First Luv and the Spider Roll, the spider roll had half the meat it usually does plus a 20% markup Then there is the First Luv a pretty boring roll till the sauce gets added and brings it to life, my absolute favorite and they butchered it. Also marked up but by a whopping 50%, no sauce, might have been OK had the manager been a little bit more accommodating. He was rude, belittling, and had a complete disregard for the sub-par quality that was presented by his restaurant.Order is usually right so the one time I don't check it before reaching home and my taste buds wept for the loss. Never going back to this location again. We decided to call the one in McDonough, the manager there was/is more than willing to attempt to recreate our favorites without the ridiculous markup. If I could get away with no stars I would.
Best hibachi in town – The best restuarant in Atlanta hands down. The food is great. The service Is wonderful. The cooks know me by name everytime that I go. Just a wonderful place to dine in. You are sure to see a celebrity when you go.
Customer Service Stinks...Do not Care About Customer – Thier food is okay for the most part however my husband and I ordered his birthday dinner from there as a pick up. When we got home we noticed they did not give us the filet we ordered instead the gave us new york strip which was tough and hard with no flavor. I could not eat it. We called to notify them of the error...one of the ladies that worked there said to come back the next day to get a filet replacement. Well the next day we called and we was told there was a misunderstanding and we could not get a replacement we could drive out there from (Ellenwood to Stockbridge) to get a refund. Are you kidding me! First of all you should do what is necessary to satisfy the customer...since the error was your fault. Second if there was a probably you could have told us to come back the same day to correct it. Third of all I am not drive back to your restaurant for a refund you better give it to me over the phone. This is not the first time I have had bad service ....things cost to much to give them my money and they do not respect me as a customer...they can consider me done with them.
Best Hibachi in Town – I have been to this restaurant several times. It is very family oriented. The chefs are good cooks and great entertainers. I thoroughly enjoyed each visit. However, I was a little disappointed with one of the services. I purchased a gift certificate for some of my friends as a Christmas gift. When they went to use it, they told them that they could not use it because they had switched management. The certificate did not have an expiration date on it either. My friends had to pay for their food. So, if you go for lunch or dinner, you will enjoy it. Just do not purchase gift certificates.
