Grand China Restaurant has been serving authentic Asian cuisine since 1978. The menu has now expanded beyond traditional Cantonese food to include Pan Asian selections. With over 250 items on the menu, you will find delicious Japanese, Thai and Chinese dishes in addition to Vietnamese and Malay appetizers. Be sure to check out the extensive bar selection of beer, wine and cocktails.
Open seven days a week serving lunch and dinner, Grand China also does take out, delivery and catering ( for orders over $30). Bring family and guests to Grand China-- we promise they'll find something to enjoy.
Note for first-timers: Grand China is a fast casual style restaurant that primarily serves take-out, Pan Asian Chinese food. They do have a sitting area but it's purpose is mainly for those working in the area who would like to eat in during their lunch hour, or those who want a very casual, server-free dining experience.
That being said, their food is delicious! Some of my favorite dishes include:
General Tso's Chicken (sweet and crispy outside, juicy and tender inside)
House Special Wonton Soup (so many vegetables!)
Hot & Sour Soup (Perfection)
Steamed Chicken & Fresh Vegetables (If you are looking for something light)
House Special Lo Mein (I prefer this lo mein over any place else)
Teriyaki Chicken & Fresh Vegetables (yum!)
Also, the management and staff are remarkably quick and friendly here!
I've been coming here for the past 2 years, and I gave this place five stars not because it's gourmet or exquisite, but the bang for the buck can't be beat.
I also was at the business lunch and we did have a good time, the food was fantastic and the company as well. Well done Grand China!
Just had a business lunch at Grand China, all I can say is First Class, great food and a great business meeting!
I went here with a friend for dinner on Friday night.
We didn't know what to expect but were greeted warmly at the door and seated immediately. There was a bit of a crowd in the restaurant but we got a great seat in the center.
For our meal we ordered the Egg Rolls, Braised Honey Duck, chicken fried rice, and a Braised Bean Curd dish.
All of the food here was very good with my two favorite dishes being the Braised Honey Duck and the Braised Bean Curd dish. The portions here are also large as we had more than enough food for the two of us, even though we were very hungry.
The fried rice was also pretty good and mixed well with the tofu curry dish and was a very good value.
The service was quick and very friendly and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine for a great value.
I have only been here for lunch as I work in the Buckhead area and usually need something quick and cheap to eat. They have a large selection of very affordable lunch options from around $6-$8 unlike some other places that only have a few. I ordered the lunch special, I liked it. I thought it had just great flavor, it came quickly and was a great portion size for the money. One thing I really liked was that all the lunch specials come with an egg roll, and both rice and Chow Mein noodles. Being stir fried in a really tasty sauce, the one thing that would entice me to come back again was definitely the Chow Mein!
Grand China is pretty much what you would expect. It's more hole in the wall than strip mall and doesn't advertise to be anything it isn't. Expect amazing authentic Chinese cuisine, it serves as a good alternative if you want a step above our local Chinese restaurants.

Been coming here for years. The inside looks the same from when I first came here as an adolescent in 1994. Soooooo, yeah, not the most modern place to dine but take out is very popular. Here is what I've tried through the years. All really good:
Wonton soup, egg flower soup, sweet & sour soup, sum gum wonton deluxe, sweet & sour chicken, walnut shrimp, sweet & pungent shrimp, cashew chicken, beef & broccoli, egg fu young, moo shu, and steamed chicken with vegetables.
I agree with most of the reviews on this page, a great fun place to eat!
Great Fun Last Night – Just had to say I had a wonderful time last night great food and great company.
A Buckhead icon, great service great staff, Ms Chan is a great hostess :)
