Mitzi Prochnow from Mitzi and Romano Didn't Pay Invoice – This Virginia Highlands store seems harmless. But after waiting 9 months for an invoice to be paid, while making monthly follow ups via phone and email, I feel it's my duty to relay the message. If you are a small business, as is Mitzi and Romano, be very wary to sell your wares to the store. Mitzi Prochnow was very kind to order such a large order from a small business like mine.

I am disappointed that all small business owners don't play by the rules. Mitzi Prochnow didn't pay my invoice, and although she finally responded after a few months of attemped contact, she still has yet to pay or to respond to my inquiries.

What a total disappointment. Don't sell to this store unless you get cash in hand. Don't do a small business a favor by giving 30 days net. It has turned into 9 months.

When guys have to go to a woman's boutique... – On random occasions, I find myself accompanying my lady friend as she shops. Not any guy's favorite thing to do, but we all have to take one for the team now and then. Things can get testy in a hurry if said gal pal can't find exactly what she wants. For this reason, I love Mitzi & Romano. Whenever we go there, my girl leaves happy, and with something (or lots of things) she likes. And this saves the rest of the day for yours truly. So gents, don't always be afraid of the dreaded "shopping" day, just take her here and win a get-out-of-jail-free card for at least a day or two.

Awful Jewelry! – Don't know who the artist is but the stamped jewelry with sayings is so over done. Those parts are from Hobby Lobby for goodness sakes. So this "jeweler" makes jewelry from parts, stamps out a few quotes and sells this junk at a really high price. Nice!!! I've seen better jewelry at a flea market.

Favorite VAHI Shopping – I love Mitzi and Romano. They are my favorite VAHI shopping location. The clothes are so trendy and their store window looks so beautiful. The big flowers in the window are just spectacular.

Great Sales – I went to this boutique for the first time and found some really great deals. The accessory store was having an 80% sale on select items and I got a bottle of Tocca Touch perfume for an unbelievable deal (was supposed to be $68, and I am not kidding it ended up being $14). My boyfriend could not believe that bargains. I also got a really cute Free People blouse (originally $98, on sale for around $20) I hear they have sales racks frequently, so I will definitely return! Yes, the sales people could be a little friendlier, but isn't that the case at most places?

Mitzi & Romano features racks upon racks of current styles and an irresistible accessories counter in Atlanta. – The Scene
Is it the fabulous fashions, or the five-star accessories counter? For whichever reason, this Virginia-Highland boutique is always busy. Even so, personal attention is easy to come by (you can also let them know if you're just looking). Come in on Saturday to see North Highland socialites among Atlanta's weekend day-strollers.

The Goods
Party dresses abound, from funky numbers perfect for a night out with the girls to simple cocktails suitable for a conservative affair. You can also count on this store to have the current Michael Star shirts and nearly every style of the latest jeans. If you're a brand-name shopper, be on the lookout for BCBG, Free People, and Central Park West. And that accessories counter? You'll find something, guaranteed.

Best Boutique in Atlanta – Mitzi & Romano is my favorite boutique in Atlanta. They have stylish, fashionable clothing that is unique, fun and sophisticated. Without fail, I always get compliments on what I wear from there- whether it's a cocktail dress, jeans, accessories or a cute top. The price point can be higher than some boutiques in Atlanta, but they have GREAT sales and I'm never sorry with what I have bought. Honestly, My favorite items in my closet came from Mitzi & Romano.

My experience in the store is exactly what I want when I'm shopping. I like to browse on my own, and when it's time to try on, the salespeople are awesome about helping you choose and giving you their honest opinion. I bought a pair of Hudson cords a couple of weeks ago and Anna (who's super cute by the way) helped me pick the right size (you never know how they're going to stretch)- and kept bringing me pairs and making suggestions until I found the perfect fit.

Bottom line, great clothes & accessories I know I'll get compliments on.

good customer service – I am so sorry to read about the woman who had a problem with customer service at Mitzi & Romano. I went in the other day and had a great experience. I too had just lost weight from having a baby and they helped me find a great pair of jeans. It took a lot of patience on my part to try on jeans but one of the girls helped me find a great pair. I also found out that the really skinny girl or the "anorexic" girl the reviewer mentioned had been really sick lately. I guess we shouldn't jump to conclusions! I had a good experience.

Don't believe everything you read...see for yourself. – I work at Mitzi and Romano and have read all of the reviews. To those who have written good ones, thanks! As for the bad ones, I am a little confused. For example, We always carry jeans sizes from 25 to 32. This is the scale our vendors use. Honestly, I find it hard to believe that any of our employees would say that we do not carry "big" sizes. I have also read that we are rude and don't greet anyone. This is 100 percent false. We make a point to greet every person who walks into our store. Let's be realistic though...on a busy day, some customers may be missed. This means that we are busy helping other customers and did not see you walk in the door. For that, we are very sorry. We try our best to be helpful without being overbearing. Our boutique has a great selection of merchandise and amazing markdowns that you won't find anywhere else. We hope that the people who have had bad experiences here will come back and let us right our wrong.
