Best food/atmosphere for miles – The Flying Biscuit Cafe is a must for any Atlantan. Both the midtown and Candler Park locations provide plenty of people watching. The food is creative, tempting and down right good. Red meat fanatics beware, you'll see not beef or pork on this menu. Vegitarians and Vegans will be delighted at the choices as well
Kidnapping Experience! – My friends and I "kidnapped" our friend whom was having a birthday that morning and blindfolded her and took her to eat breakfast here and it was wonderful! The food was the best and the prices were a lot cheaper than I had expected. The average meal cost was about 8 dollars! The resturant was cute and the service intresting!
9 – Loved this place. Food was excellent. The place was full - but everyone was friendly. Biscuits are incredible. Even my red-meat-eating husband loved the chicken-sage sausage. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun breakfast place, even for us yuppies!
The Best Biscuits – Worth the wait! Be sure to try the side of love.
Go early.... – The secret is out. Everyone knows how great the food is, and how early you need get there, or else wait. Definitely try the chicken sausage with anything else you order.
Love the biscuits – No wonder this place gets so crowded--the breakfasts are amazing (especially the biscuits). Love the french toast and tofu dishes, as well as the sage sausage. Very kid-friendly, too: Crayons, coloring paper and a kids' menu (plus a lot to look at). Do hit this place mid-week and you can avoid waiting for a table.
Biscuits & Coffee to die for – The Flying Biscuit is wonderful....good home-style biscuits, great coffee, and an array of b'fast options. Great for take-out, but the seating area is extremely small and you are more than likely apt to have to wait for a table.
Hype and Yuppies... – It's not bad, but I found Flying Biscuit to be a little too much hype and not enough substance. The food was good, but hardly worth the eternity you'll wait for a table on the weekends. I'd rather go somewhere a bit less trendy and avoid the yuppies.
Over-rated – Waiting more than an hour for a piece of omelette is a little too much. I like the food; it is not the greatest but definitely above average. Is it worth waiting one+ hour in front of filthy grocery store on your day off? Definitely not.
P.S. Their famous Biscuits might have been great several years ago but now they awful... they are under-baked and you end up eating half-dough. On the other hand you can't beat their apple-jam.
