Great Stuff Great Value Great Owner – Don't let the mish-mash merchandising style of this place throw you off. Under the layers of crap lie great treasures. A recent jaunt unveiled 2 Maitland-Smith bergeres and ottomans covered in Ralph Lauren leather for the whopping price of $750.00.
Friendly staff, and an owner who drives (and accepts) a hard bargain, you can't go wrong here. They even delivered my chairs the same day for a small additional fee.
Highly recommended.....every trip is an adventure.
A cavernous antique warehouse as quirky and eccentric as Ponce de Leon itself. – The Scene
This is the kind of antiquing you'd imagine finding in New Orleans. The entrance is a quaint mural of colorful French storefronts, with a wrought-iron harbor, tiny footbridge and two-story replica of the Eiffel Tower. Inside, a dark, dusty parlor with Aubusson carpets leads to an endless warren of warehouses packed with a truly amazing quantity of antiques and memorabilia. Mannequins dolled up in gold lamé, red cellophane or other whimsical garb lounge throughout.
Though there are a few themed areas like lawn furniture, wicker, French antiques and vintage appliances, most rooms are a hodgepodge of curiosities. A table-sized Victorian birdhouse might be displayed next to a medieval-style woodcarving; while a gothic deacon's chair from an old Atlanta church might sit across from a life-size replica of an Egyptian mummy. From vintage photographs to cement gargoyles, this is a fun place to discover the unexpected.
too cool – I like this shop. It is large and fun. I do not like Antique malls. You can never talk to the owners of the stuff and they are impersonal. I have furnished most of our house here and buy things at fair prices. I used to buy in buckhead, but the prices there are astronomical.
Eclectic – This mazelike antique/junk store makes for a fun afternoon of shopping. You really never know what you're going to find in this place. There's not much rhyme or reason to it. The store also gets so much stuff half of it doesn't have a price tag. Don't let that deter you: A sales assistant is always wandering about. Not for neat freaks or folks looking for "rare" antiques.
