Horrible Service!!! – Dear Manager,
Next time you have your staff meeting, please let all your servers know that they cannot ignore the customers. They need to approach the table asap. If they have something to do, please go to the table first... at least say hi...and tell them that they'll be right back.
One of Your Upset Customers
Restaurant Gone Bad – This used to be one of my favorite midtown patio dining spots. But has it ever gone down hill fast. If you like sitting with a bunch of unruly drunks, below average food, and slow service, this is for you. Will not return anytime soon. No management in sight.
Great Spinach Dip – This place has the absolute best spinach dip I've ever had.
best cheap outdoor dining – Joe's rocks, both in the winter sitting by the fireplaces or in the summer sitting outside. I always get the chicken philly, and my wife gets the blackened salmon salad(which she says is 2nd only to getting salmon in Seattle). The tanked chicken nachos are a great way to start your dinner. The wait staff is incredibly fun and social, not the typical staff that will barely talk to you. One bad thing people complain about is the parking, there is a small parking lot(maybe 12-15 spaces) on the property, but there is plenty of street parking, and if you can't parallel park there is a pay lot across the street(2.50-3 bucks)
Fun staff, great food, cheap martinis! – I go on my lunch break at least every other week. My coworkers and I love the atmosphere. The servers are always attentive. The food is great- that includes the dessert. You'd better take one car because parking is very limited. Overall, this is a great place to dine with friends.
The patio is the biggest draw at this low-key Midtown tavern and grill. – The Scene
This easygoing Juniper Street hangout sits in a converted bungalow, but the elevated brick patio with its tiki torches more than steals the show. A good Midtown mix of gay and straight, slacker and professional mingles comfortably in the casual atmosphere. Activities range from trivia or live music to simply visiting with neighbors at the next table.
The menu isn't nearly the draw that the atmosphere is, but it's decent bar chow, nonetheless. Burgers are big; best bets include one with mushrooms and Swiss cheese and the Border burger, which comes with guacamole, salsa and cotija cheese. Joe's veggie burger, another solid option, comes loaded with guacamole and sour cream. Fries are crispy and spicy, but crisp green beans or broccoli can be substituted. Wash it all down with one of Joe's specialty cocktails, wine from an extensive list, or even a retro root beer float.
A good time! – Joe's ia a fun, casual place with good beer and decent drinks. Tuesday is "trivia" night and it was a good time. The servers are fun and casual, polite and efficient. Also lot's of outdoor seating and parking for $5 accross the street.
Good food & great people – Joe's is a great place to chill out with friends or grab a quick bite. I'll admit that I'm a regular but there's a good reason for that. The patio is a great place when the weather's nice but gathering inside next to one of the numerous fireplaces on a cold evening is nice as well. The food is good and they have a huge selection of beers. The real draw is the atmosphere and the people, both the employees and regular customers. The service may be a little inconsistent at times, but its definitely still worth it.
Good Time Late on a Sunday – I dropped in late on a Sunday night with a friend. Not crowded as I would expect late on a Sunday. Joes is good for a late drink on Sunday and a quick bite. Friendly service but then again we knew the waiter. Drinks were strong enough but a tad overpriced. I'd come again especially on Sunday night.
You need to try it! – Joe's redeems the Metrotainment Restaurant group from the disaster that is Cowtippers.
The food is decent, the prices are affordable, the atmosphere is great and the ability to dine casually in midtown for not very much money is appealing.
Parking is hard to come by, but the side streets may save you $10. in the pay lots.
