Served 7 days a week 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
I loved the personal touch of our server, Sharon. She was very accommodating. Only thing I would change are the chandeliers.
I particularly enjoyed the fast service and ambiance of the restaurant. The parking area was a bit confusing.
The hospitality and service was awesome. The food was the best I've had in a long time. I can't think of anything to improve - continue the good work/awesome food and service.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. Food presentation was also great - as a frequent Ruths Chris diner, I can always taste a slight difference in taste each and every time I come in.
Golden Corral meal for $190 – I've experienced other Ruth's Chris places and this one in Sandy Springs is rank.
If you want a horde of untamed animals for children placed near you , by all means go there. Don't expect to have an audible conversation though.
The NY STRIP definitely wasn't worth it. Must have been an inexperienced short order cook and a meat buyer saving money on buying utility grade meat.
Save your money from this dump
Overrated – Had heard about Ruth's Chris since before moving to Atlanta- raves about how great it was, how the steaks were the best, etc. My girlfriend decided it would be a nice treat for us to check it out one night. We both left disappointed.
Our server was slow. The meal was ridiculously overpriced for the portions served- as was the wine, the side dishes and other our other drinks.
All in all, I'm glad I tried it, but I'd never go back. One star was the lowest rating I could give, which is a shame.
Sophisticated American chain serves up corn-fed USDA prime cuts and New Orleans-style appetizers and sides. – In Short
This offshoot of a popular New Orleans hangout for politicians features decor of dark woods and comfortable booths, with a separate bar scene. Choice cuts of custom-aged beef arrive in sizzling butter on 500-degree plates. The menu also offers chicken, pork and seafood entrees along with Creole appetizers like shrimp remoulade. Family-style sides include gargantuan onion rings, creamed spinach and various styles of potatoes. Traditional homemade desserts like cheesecake and bread pudding conclude the meal.
Great old school meal – This particular Ruth's Chris has a really old school vibe. The main dining area is warm and inviting. The food was the best I have had at any Ruth's Chris I have visited. The wedge salad and filet is always a safe bet.
A truly wonderful evening. – My wife and I went here on Friday night, October 20, 2006.
Reservations are easily made, and I had no problems calling to adjust the reservation to include my two and a half year old daughter and delay our time by 15 minutes.
Parking was valet only.
We wound up arriving a few minutes behind our original reservation, but 10 minutes early for the new reservation. We were shown straight to our table.
From the start, my wife and I were floored. This was her FIRST time ever in a FINE restaurant, and only my second or third. We were NOT disappointed. My wife apologized to me for insisting on taking our daughter. She proved to live up to the expectations of the experience, and was an absolute perfect angel.
Our waiter, Richard was absolutely top notch, and even made sure that our meal was good enough for our daughter. They bring out the steaks sizzling on a 500 degree plate, not friendly to even adult fingers, but they did bring out a cool plate for our daughter.
If you're used to restaurants like Applebee's, Bugaboo Creek, Chili's, Friday's, Logan's, Outback, etc, you're going to be in for a shock when you open the menu. The main entrees start at $23 and go up. The porterhouse goes for $41, and the wine list averages about $11 or so per glass. Sides are a la carte and large enough for 2 or 3 people.
Our food was perfect, dessert was delightful, service was outstanding as you'd expect in a fine restaurant, and our waiter was more than helpful.
This is not exactly a place you want to take a kid to, but our daughter has received an invitation from our waiter and the staff to return.
Our tab came to 99.83, and we left 25% for the tip.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a 5 star experience and don't mind paying for it. We will return to Ruth's Chris again, and are going to be making arrangements to send my wife's parents there for their next anniversary.
Excellent Choice for a Special Occasion – Some friends and I ate at Ruth's on Roswell Road and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. From the moment we entered we felt pampered. The ambience and atmosphere spoke of elegance.
Our server was quite knowledegable on the menu as well as the food preparation. She was very attentive. The food was outstanding. We had a relaxing delightful dinner, that was beyond a doubt first class or "high cotton"to quote my grandmother.
