Great delivery sushi, fast and good service – I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with the customer service at this restaurant for maybe 5 years now. Great sushi delivery, and quick too.

What a disappointment – "I used to work in Kennesaw one day a week and I always looked forward to Singapore Rice Noodles for lunch at the Kennesaw Chin Chin. I thought that a chain would be fairly consistent (which in this case would mean excellent.) My disappointment in Chin Chin V is profound. I paid almost $12 for a dinner meal that was smaller than my lunches in Kennesaw and I got no soup. The food was TERRIBLE - dry and WAY over spiced. I ended up buying some rice noodles at the grocery store to mix in and make it tolerable so I wouldn't waste my $12. I will never eat at Chin Chin V again."

Bad Customer Service – I have visited Chin Chin in Dunwoody. My pointers for good restaurant service:

1. Do not bring my ticket 5 minutes after bringing the meal

2. Do not clear my table without asking

3. Do not ignore requests which can be reasonable accomodated

Chin Chin in Dunwoody violated all of these pointers. I opted for Chick-fil-A, my coworkers out voted me. I work with a bunch of loosers.

A busy mess – A few weeks I visited this location and the service was slow. We felt ignored, but I wrote it off to the place being packed. Today is the Friday before a federal holiday and we were the first customers to arrive for lunch. The waiter asked us where we wanted to sit, we responded and he sat us elsewhere. This was a party of 3 and later it was given to another party of 3. He brought the food and 10 bites in, he brought the check. He did bring me a refill for my drink, after walking by my watered down drink 2 or 3 times. And here's the kicker, he had to wait about 40 minutes as the check sat there on the table. Generally, I don't pay until my party has finished eating. The place is about half full now and there are enough empty table, so we are not rushing to get out of there. He reaches over my friend?s plate to retrieve my wife's plate, and at the time she's still eating. After he drops those plates in the kitchen and waits about 10 minutes, he comes back to get her plate. I'm still munching on the free crunchy crud in the middle of the table. This guy comes in and grabs both bowls of the free crunch. I had just stuff a few pieces in my mouth as he was reaching for the bowl. I just pray that they are not recycling the stuff; he took it like he needed it for another table. Well that's that, for Chin Chin, I'm done. I did pay and my wife left a $.02 tip, I told my party that I won't even waste that small amount of money. The just have poor service at the Dunwoody location and I know the manager of another location. I will be speaking with him about the terrible service at that location. All in all the food is average, but I've been around.

"Melt in your mouth sushi" – The Unagi was the best I have ever had, and the General Tso's Chicken wasn't too shabby either. Highly recommended!

Good Eats – I've ate in and had take out. Every time the food has been good & Straight forward(if that makes sense) I havent tried any other Chin Chins but after my experiences here, I have no fear. The portions are good, and the lunch prices are excellent. Is it my favorite place? No, but I would never frown if it was an option for a meal.

Popular Midtown Chinese restaurant specializes in inexpensive, flavorful versions of Americanized favorites. – The Scene
Known more for takeout and delivery than as a sit-down place, this busy Ford Factory Square restaurant does a steady business in the surrounding neighborhoods. Inside, the small dining room is simply decorated with stylized bamboo stands, fans and small prints. Service is minimal but friendly.

The Food

This local Chinese chain restaurant woos with well-executed versions of standard, Americanized Chinese dishes that don't break the bank. Three Cups Taiwanese chicken is a hearty casserole of veggies rich with sesame oil and rice wine. Crispy Hunan-style fish is a generous, flaky whole snapper (de-boned tableside) with a slightly sweet ginger-scallion sauce. Sugar snap peas with prawn could benefit from less thickener, but the shrimp are plump and the peas tender. Pass on the overcooked and under-seasoned salt and pepper calamari in favor of soothing velvet corn and chicken soup to start.

Prompt service, tasty food – The value for food and service is very good. The service has always been excellent and prompt during my multiple visits. Lunch time service was prompt. I particularly like the wonton soup and the fried pot stickers. My usual dinner dish is Mongolian beef.

Awful staff, so-so food – The staff is the worst thing about this restaurant. Placed a carryout order, which was promised in 15 minutes - was not ready even 45 minutes later - when I complained to the staff, I got a rude response. Then to top it all off, the food was not very good. Will never go back.

1 – The food here is not very good. I was there with a co-worker of mine from China. The sauces were too thick and the same with the soup. It's nothing like the claim to be in their take out menu -- nothing at all authentic. I would not suggest this place at all. It's not the worst Chinese food I've had but not very good.
