Best Delivery – I remembered having a menu placed under the door at my apartment. After doing a google search, I found them on as an option on campusfood's site. I was impressed with the ability to order online.
After placing my order, it said it would be approximately 40 minutes--I was shocked when there was a knock at my door shortly after 30.
I'm slightly disappointed in the Hot & Sour soup. The 'hot' is done with black pepper instead of red that I've become accustomed. Also, it's quite "brothy" (hardly any "bits" and bland--needs salt). On the other hand, the crab rangoons & braised wings were quite good.
Another thumbs up for the variety (was able to mix typical Chinese appetizers with Thai entree (Spicy Basil Duck) and for the late hours. I could be getting myself in trouble knowing that they're open/deliver until 3 a.m.
I will be ordering again, just not the Hot & Sour soup.
This cheap, college-style Chinese spot whips up late-night snacks for students off Briarcliff. – In Short
Hearken back to those bygone college days when money management included enough loot to buy your round of pitchers on a Friday night, and it quickly becomes clear why this eat-in/takeout place is so popular with Emory book worms. Rather than getting caught up on the lack of ambience, ignore the décor-less dining area and focus on what keeps people coming back--a menu of beloved Asian standards. There are the ever-present Chinese and Thai appetizers, veggie-inspired dishes along with curry and noodle plates. But what sets the place apart is the menu options that abound long after other lights go out. Many of the midnight appetizers and snacks are priced reasonably at $6.95 and available until 3am, explaining why Chopsticks earned a "Best of Emory" accolade from the student newspaper.
Consumers Beware!!!! Cook sp*t in food!!! – I went to Chopsticks near Emory and was shocked to see one of the cooks SP*T in the food he was preparing. Needless to say I immediately asked for a refund and left. I will never go back!!!! Consumers beware!!!
