Great Pizza – The pizza is great . The crust is really thin so even if you are watching carbs you can enjoy a slice.

My favorite pizza joint in Atlanta – I'm well acquainted with Fellini's, Mellow Mushroom, and numerous other pizza places around town. Though Fellini's sometimes comes close, NYPE is my clear favorite. The uncannily light and chewy crust is terrific, and the toppings are fresh and generous. Plus, they have a range of unique creations (Mexican, PB&J, etc.) that really set them apart. Im fortunate to live within delivery range, but Ive eaten on site multiple times and found the service friendly and competent and the atmosphere inviting.

My personal favorite is the white pizza (truly white, with a garlic cheese sauce instead of tomato) with chicken and broccoli. Just dont expect anyone to talk to you for a while. Other favorites include the surprisingly good but pricy Cajun chicken fettuccine alfredo, the Chickenboli (with huge sun-dried tomatoes), and excellent calzones. Desserts are good, but if youre eating there I second the recommendation to hit Ben & Jerrys.

It's all in the crust at this specialty pizza joint. – The Scene
Inside the Exchange, calzones, strombolis and pies emerge from stainless steel ovens that sit behind a huge glass and brick service island. Outside, a magnolia-shaded patio offers a cool setting. It's the perfect spot to linger with regrets over that last slice (dripping with mozzarella) that you didn't really need to eat.

The Food
The light but chewy crust is key to NYPE's 13 specialty pizzas. Throw a couple pounds of cheese, and the pies can't help but be tasty, though the sauce needs more garlic and oregano. A large Sicilian could feed half of Palermo. The Can't Beat the Meat Pizza, with five meats on a red or white sauce, is recommended. Try the pulled pork barbecue pizza for a change of pace or the Aphrodite for scads of fresh veggies. The spinach dip appetizer, drenched in a rich cheese sauce, is a meal by itself. Twenty-one subs, standard pasta dishes and wine by the glass or bottle are also available.

The Absolute Best – This restaurant is a fun place to sit outside in the summer, but even in the winter their pizza is worth coming for. Also resommended are their huge salads that come served on pizza crust.

Great place to chill – NY Pizza is a great place to go with family or friends. The food is excellent, the service is unobtrusive and attentive, the entertainment (whether live music or trivia) is a blast, and the atmosphere is awesome. I have a great time here and love to bring my friends and family along for a great night of relaxing dining and camaraderie.

Pizza, Music, Trains...AWESOME! – Went here on Friday night and we had a great time. The weather was perfect, so we sat outside and enjoyed the great patio. Then the trains started coming by and that was pretty cool...the patio is right on the tracks. The pizza was really good...the crust is very good. We got some extra pizza sauce, which I would recommend. In addition, they had some live music that was really pretty solid. I would say this is one of the cooler places to go on the weekend for a relaxed evening out... OH, and hit the Ben and Jerry's afterwards, but bring cash, they don't accept debit or credit cards!

Favorite local pizza place! – This is a great place to go for pizza in a casual atmosphere--especially on the weekends when they have a guy playing music out on the patio. He's really worth seeing! The pizza is wonderful, but try some of the other items on the menu also. The grilled chicken caesar salad is tops!!!

Filling Fare in a Fun Setting – Save for the glossy brick-and-glass sheen of the service island --and of course the bar --the decor is strongly reminiscent of the place where all the kids used to hang out on "Saved by the Bell." The bill of fare runs to flavorful pies, dependable pasta and solid sandwiches. Oddly enough, pizza by the slice seems to be of a lower quality than if you order a whole pie, and advertising some of the dishes as "New York" style seems disingenuous at best. Still, a premium on comfort and serviceable, filling dishes makes this Exchange a good go-to destination.
