The most inefficient company out there! I have used other wheelchair replacement, repair companies for over 30 years. I have never had to deal with such inadequate business practices. – On one occasion, a service tech ordered parts for a non-working chair. I was told the parts would be in for delivery within 2 weeks, since I had no other wheelchair. Afther 1 month, I was told, the office staff threw away all my order information because they could not get insurance information. They did not call to discuss the insurance with me. Meanwhile, I am stuck without a usuable wheelchair. I had to go and borrow one. It has been almost 2 months, they still do not have their act together.
Another occasion, wheelchair tech had met with me to put new parts on wheelchair. After the 2nd attempt with parts not fitting or delivered, the tech took a new axle off one of my other weelchairs (in garage) and has never replaced the axle.to the repair chair or given the axle back for my garage chair.. The axle that he used (from my weelchair in the garage) did not fit the wheelchair he was working on. Ultimately, a wheel fell of the chair he had repaired one night late when I was home alone. I had to lay on the floor for 3 hours before family could come.
The "left hand does not know what the right hand" is doing. Customer care does not always call back. Service is the worst I have ever dealth with! I wish 2 of the former companies he ordered and repaired wheelchairs were still in Atlanta. They were professional and took care of their customers!
This company will not take care of you!
This company should be Imobility Designs. The power wheelchair purchased through them has not been operable for over 2 weeks now... – This is the first medical equipment vender I've seen in 25 years that doesn't provide a loner chair while they wait for parts. And they have no idea when a part will arrive. Ever heard of a tracking number? I finaly found another vender who cared about my mobility and sent over a loner power chair. He is sticking his neck out to get paid because the company who is billing for parts to repair a chair is supposed to provide the loner chair. Mobility Designs doesn't care if I have mobility. One employee asked if I could find a man to come over to push my 300+ pound power chair with my 130 pound body around. So to sum it all up. Mobility Designs has NO customer service at all.
