Nice place but I am not crazy about the menu – I really like Food 101 but I just feel that their menu is somewhat limited. To be honest I am a very picky eater though so that might have something to do with it. Other than that I think they are great!
Loved, Loved, Loved It – My wife and I were just driving by and decided to stop and try Food 101. We had never heard anything about it or been there before. We have to tell you that we loved the atmosphere, and the food was sensational and very reasonably priced. The menu has many interesting and unique entrees. Nothing far out, and all of them sound delicious. The Cauliflower soup was great. My wife got the Shrimp and Grits and I got the Pasta/Seafood special, and they were both superb. Our waiter, Chris was fantastic and the whole staff were friendly. We would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definately be going back.
What a FABULOUS place! – This restaurant is AMAZING! One of the best dining experiences that I've had in Atlanta in a long time. The service is 'on point'. Our server, Pam, was attentive and professional. The chef, Jordan, came to our table to greet us. BTW, he's quite handsome(o: I couldn't believe the quantity and the quality of the food for the price. How the heck can they afford to serve food that is grown locally, free of hormones and additives?! I don't know. Food 101 is a shining example of what a patrons expectation should be when dining out. SALUTE.....
Thank you! – Thank you Food 101 for a FANTASTIC dinner! The service was perfect and the Dirty martini was spot on! It was great addition to my Trout! I have never seen this before but, Food 101 offers chocolate covered bacon for dessert; it is the perfect combination of sweet and salty - everyone should try it! Thank you again for such a wonderful dining experience!
Fantastic! A must visit!!! – I had my birthday dinner at Food 101 last night! The food was fantastic! I started with the Ahi Tuna, Oysters and Shrimp - perfect. Our table had the Kobe Burritto, Ravioli and Trout for entrees and it was all delicous! If you save room - try the chocolate covered bacon, yummy. Food 101 is a must visit!
Best food for the price, Period! – I feel like I'm at Food 101 every day. I've tried just about everything on the menu and my taste buds have never been let down. The Kobe Beef Burrito is to die for. My recipe for a perfect dinner is as follows;
1. Choose a wine.(You can't go wrong)
2. 2 words: Tuna Tostadas.
3. Remember your greens, I recommend the Arugala Salad.
4. Pick an entree. Fried Chicken, Kobe Burrito(or Kobe Burger), Scallops, Salmon, do you want me to list them all? I can.
5. Rub your belly, and say "Thank You" to Food 101 for a perfect meal and perfect service.
6. You can go home now.
Yes, I'm a fan.
My favorite Brunch Spot! – I dine at the Sandy Springs location. I love how the interior is designed. I love the warm, friendly staff. The wait staff is impressively knowledgeable about the menu items/daily chef specials. The food is GREAT, and they do not turn their noses up, when you want to make slight changes to the menu items.....hard to find in Atlanta. When I order a half Coke/half Diet Coke, they do not look at me crazy. Again, very accommodating, very warm, family friendly (but not like a McDonald's). It's a tasteful, elegant combination of food & atmosphere that appeals to everyone.
***AGAIN-DO NOT MISS THE BRUNCH***
We Love It! – It's our favorite place for special family events! True comfort food with a unique flair presented in an upscale ambiance. Don't miss the shrimp and grits on the brunch menu!!! Fabulous!!!
Love it – I had been driving past Food 101 for years, and had never been until earlier this year. Now I have gone at least twice a month since then. The food is always amazing. The only problem I have is that I can never decide what I want because EVERYTHING sounds good.
The service was great! She was really fun and made martini suggestions that were awesome. I had wine with dinner, and they have a great wine selection. Half priced on Sundays!!
I highly recommend this place!
YUM! IS JUST THE START – FANTASTIC CHOPS & FISH ENTREES. REAL SOUTHERN GRITS! FRIENDLY & EFFICIENT STAFF. I GO HERE ON EVERY VISIT TO ATLANTA.
