always make great memories:) – I have always had a great time at Wired and Fired and look forward to take my nephews this week to make gifts for their Parents and Grandparents. I lived out of town years ago and this was always mine and Mom's spot to catch up, paint, and have artwork to have as a lasting conversation piece:) Very cool dog bowl that my dog uses daily as I write:) And for my Best Friend's Bachelorette night out we had Wired and Fired booked before dinner, she chose a set of plates, the colors that we used and she now has a cool set of 'fun' wedding memories from her friends on the east coast...now that she is in Seattle:( was checking out the schedule for this week, ran across the option to post a review and I am, happily. Love this place:):):)

They Don't Need Your Business – I went to Wired & Fired because it is close to my house and the hours fit with my schedule.

The staff was pretentious and rude. I was talked to as if I was 5 years old and insane for wanting to paint with more than the allotted 4 colors.

The place was empty when I arrived, but I was warned that I might be made to move to accommodate a large group coming in.

I walked out. The pieces were reasonably priced, but you pay $8/hour to paint (which you don't have to do other places!) and you are limited to your 4 colors.

I won't be back. I drove to All Fired Up on N. Decatur near Emory. The staff was friendly and helpful, the time was free, and the paints were unlimited. Their selection of pottery was far more extensive as well.

I guess wired & fired just doesn't need the business if they can't be nice enough to make it worth paying the extra money to paint there.

Over-Priced and Rude – There are other pottery places in Atlanta that do not cost nearly as much. They charge by the hour (unlike other places). There were two other people in the store when the three of us were painting and the two employees ignored both us and the other people. When we needed more paint we had to get up and find them. They were annoyed when we asked for more paint and when we asked questions. When I came back to pick up my piece they had sent it home with someone else. Instead of apologizing they made excuses were rude and refused to help. They will not give me a refund.

DO NOT GO HERE It's not worth your money.

Try "That Pottery Place" in Decatur, friendly with reasonable prices!

A pottery fun house where customers can create their own masterpieces or just pick up someone else's. – The Scene
This quaint pottery boutique is full of tables where concentrating customers create unique presents. Throughout the store there are also pre-decorated wares--for those who don't have the time, or for those who need some inspiration. The staff will patiently talk you through any pottery dilemma, from picking the right size bowl to painting it the perfect shade of red.

The Goods
The store is filled with practical pieces of pre-formed pottery ready for your personal touch. You'll find mugs, bowls and serving pieces that can be decorated with your selection of paints, glitters or ribbons.
