Been coming here for over 15 years! The fresh shredded chicken or pork tacos genuinely feed your need for some fresh, juicy Mexican. Throw in the beans and order a Horchata.
Best Fresh Mex – I've been coming here for years, and I'll keep coming back because the food is good, pretty healthy and the servers are always nice. it says a lot when a "fast food" place can retain servers over the course of 10-15 years, and they get promoted too. most fast food joints keep people for a couple months and they leave disgrunted. the food here is very fresh and delicious. i'm not super wild about the tacos but i love the burritos. there's no rice and beans filler, just hearty meat. yum. prices are reasonable. sometimes i splurge and get the fish or shrimp burritos, sans rice. anyway, it's a great meal for under $10.
I bought dinner for my daughter few days ago. after she ate she is sick. Throw up and had upset stomatch. Never go back to this brunch again.
Local fresh-Mex chain serves Baja-style food, with vegetarian and low-carb options. – The Scene
White-tiled tables and green plastic chairs fill the covered indoor-outdoor dining room. Half-walls allow in the breeze on sunny days, and plasticine curtains can be drawn to shut out rain. Worker bees and families flock here during the midday lunch rush and for inexpensive dinners. Counter service adds to the relaxed environment.
Priding themselves on the motto "we don't serve fast food, we serve fresh food as fast as we can," this quality taco stand is known for ample portions, freshly made tortillas, and burritos packed so full of prime ingredients there is usually no room for rice-and-bean fillers. The grilled carnitas quesadilla is stuffed with flavorful pork, Jack and cheddar cheese. Tender shrimp, guacamole and cheese fill the San Felipe burrito--topping any burrito with rich red mojado sauce turns it into an oversized enchilada. Meatless nature's grill dishes, like the crispy-shelled tostada, brim with a mix of zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, peppers and onions.
Great "baja" style mexican food – The steak burrito is amazing, and the quezadilla is super-amazing. Parking at the Burbank location is horrible and parking at the Universal City location is super-horrible.
the best – Delicious, fast, fresh and friendly! Doesn't get much better than that! Call ahead for pick up because there is not much room to wait for your order when the place is busy.
Fresh, delicious Mexican food. – I've never been disappointed by this place, no matter what I get. Everything is delicious and the prices are reasonable. One of my favorite lunch spots.
Great for vegetarians – I love this place because they make vegeterians really very happy... though the quesadilla can get soggy =(
and overstuffed with cheese, it still is good. It's not a crazy big amount of food, but the serving is more than enough to be totally stuffed. Really good place!
An awakening, of sorts – I was a die-hard Baja Fresh fan before I stumbled upon this spot. It was the closest lunch counter during my very brief break from working at the nearby radio station. The food was amazing. It changed my perspective on Mexi-Cali food altogether. It got crowded in the teeny-tiny place, but the quesadilla was deliciously worth it.
Homemade tortillas and fresh ingredients set this taco stand apart – Ever since I discovered P.M. a year ago, it's been hard for me to justify hitting up any other California-tinged Mexican eateries. Freshly made tortillas put Baja Fresh, La Salsa, et. al. to shame. "We don't serve fast food... we serve fresh food as fast as we can" is truly not just a slogan. Try it. I don't believe it's possible to be disappointed.
Poquito Mas: A Little More than Good – Well, I expected a restaurant, but I recieved a hybrid fast-food. In the manner of Baja Fresh, Poquito Mas serves up typical semi-fast food Mexican fare. The burritos were great, and they have an amazing array of salsas to go with your free sampling of chips.
If you want a restaurant, this is not the place to go. If you want good fast food, it's perfect.
Cool outdoor/indoor seating too.
Poquito Mas ole! – I love Poquito Mas. The food is fresh, inexpensive and it's the right amount of food. The service is great too. This is always my first choice when debating on where to go out for dinner to. They also sell beer and have tv's to watch while you dine. Explained in one word: Perfect!
