I've going here since 1993! – I've been coming to this nail salon since it was in North Hollywood. When I first started to get mani/pedis, I tried a few different places around my house. Prestige Nails was the best! They eventually moved to Burbank, and I make the extra drive to get to them twice a month.
Ann, the owner, is incredibly sweet and dedicated to her business. She is constantly adding to the services provided, and recently added a foot/shoulder massage room that is VERY relaxing for a very fair price.
I recommend this salon 100%!
Best Ever!! – I absolutely love this nail salon! Friendly people, great pedicure's, loved my waxed eyebrows, acrylics are beautiful.......can't say enough!
AVOID. BEWARE. WARNING. – This place DOESN'T even DESERVE ONE STAR. I'm warning you now, if you plan to go here, don't be surprise if your nails are uneven, nail polish on your skin, missing part of your eyebrows that was once there, and the list goes on. Employees are suppose to be friendly, PROFESSIONAL, and TRAINED. but here, you get NONE of those, instead they are RUDE (talk in a different language and give you dirty looks), and UNPROFESSIONAL. AVOID all employees, except for ann.
Best Nail Salon in Burbank!!! – Wonderful Service! Friendly, warm staff!!! Iv'e been an loyal customer for over 3 years. Always get a great mani-pedi and waxing but just recently started getting eyelash extensions. Absolutely amazing! I walk out of there feeling great and looking my best!
Worst nails ever – This place STINKS!! There was one girl in there, when I first went in that did okay. When I went back for a fill and 2 repairs, and to get my little sisters nails done I was horrified at the job they did. I had acrylic all over my finger (cuticle and 1st nuckle) that she insisted was glue. It was not. My nails were all different lenghts filed at an angle, and look like they were draged over concrete. One nail chipped the next day. Over all they looked like I did them myself. Not impressed. I wouldn't be surprised if this woman wasn't licensed. I would not reccomend nor will I go back.
Polish on the cuticles – Four friends and I decided to get a manicure on a Saturday. The owner was great at a fitting us in all at once. The place is nice and clean, but the actual manicures and pedicures were terrible. The owner did two of us and those turned out great but the other three were sloppy. There was polish on the cuticles, the nails lengths were all different on one hand, and two of the girl's polish bubbled. When they wash your hands at the end of the manuicre they barely did anything and the hand massage was the quickest ever. I recommend you bring your own polish, base, color and top coat, their stuff seemed a bit cheap.
Bad experience – This was one of the worst manicures I have ever had. By the next morning--I kid you not--the polish was peeling and coming up from the sides. Plus, with my pedicure when they cut the top of my big toe nail and filed it, I only noticed afterwards (because my husband pointed it out to me) that it was at a 45 degree angle. Too bad because I was originally impressed that they had a nail drying facility and seemed to know what they were doing.
