Worse Realty I have ever rented from. The condo had numerous problems and the realty lady (Valerie) took forever getting back to us. Completely unprofessional.

Okay to rent from but this company will evict you in a heartbeat if they see a profit gain – This firm is okay to rent from but what out. They evicted numerous tenants from the Harbor Lights Development by raising the rents beyond what HUD would pay. Those units remain empty. The purpose was to get rid of HUD tenants in favor of people who can pay more. I know of one person who will be homeless as the result of this eviction. Not for not paying the rent or causing problems for the neighbors but for the greed.

think the least they could have done was help to find new rentals for those displaced. The housing market on Maui is tight with landlords charging what the market will bear. Those with HUD vouchers or low income will find find the rental market especially inhospitable. You would think that a local realty firm would be especially sensitive to the forced displacement of Maui residents. The lack of Aloha is appalling on their part. I understand economics but who benefits when people are forced to relocate and the apartments they were made to leave now empty. I am not trashing this firm call them and ask them about evicting all the HUD people because they want $1300+ for a two bedroom apartment. Harbor Lights is a decent place to live but its filled with folks that would need to work at least two jobs to live here or receive some sort of assistance. Now, that they are pricing HUD clients out of the market where will they go?

Nothing they have done is illegal. All the tenants got the legal 45 day notice but finding an apartment on Maui when you are low income, have children or are handicapped can take months. Being in the business of renting apartments and knowing the realty market on Maui so well they had to know the kind of stress and possible homelessness could befall anyone that they evicted. But they did it anyway and for that I can only say shame on this company for their lack of aloha and compassion. I know I would make sure that if you rent from this company have a back-up funds to be prepared to move quickly. If, they profit you stay or out.
