Cute neighborhood spot for Chinese food. If you want it spicy, you really have to insist. The cashew nut chicken has good veggies. Dumplings are pretty straightforward. Lots of takeout business. Free parking in lot.

LOVE THIS PLACE! – My husband and I frequent the Kung Pao Bistro in Studio City, and it never dissapoints us! Seriously, this place is great...the food is awesome (Kung Pao Shrimp and Chicken w/Black Bean Sauce...YUM!), the service is wonderful, and the prices are reasonable. This is a GREAT CHINESE RESTAURANT! You should check it out!

Great for veggies – This is my favorite place to get vegetarian Chinese food. Almost any dish on the menu they can make with "fake" chicken, beef, or shrimp.... you just have to know to ask for it!!! My non-veggie friends love the real thing there too...... and the cream-cheese filled wontons are the BEST.

Great Special! – There was a lobster special when we tried KPB that was awesome! The place is cute, service good and the food is really beautifully presented. Pricey, but I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Great Value – We're never disappointed by this place. We always get the Wonton Soup -- plenty of wontons, chicken, shrimp, snow peas and love that dark broth. The noodles are also a good bet, either the soft or crispy stir fried kind with chicken, shrimp or beef. I've sampled several different entrees and like the kung pao (chicken or shrimp), chicken with snow peas, and beef with broccoli. Wasn't a big fan of the shrimp in lobster sauce, but on the whole you can't go wrong. Also, a surprisingly good wine list for this kind of place. The two of us spend about 30 bucks total and leave with a doggie bag.

So bad I blocked it from my memory! – I completly forgot how bad KPB was untill I went there a second time. Its such a cute place, the menu looks amazing but then you bite in to a piece of food and WHAM its awful! It gets even worse...you get the bill. If they charged a $1.00 a plate it would be over priced but they charge $8.25!

Very Good Chinese – Kung Pao Bistro is always good. Nothing fancy, but there are plenty of choices, service is good, and it's a great place to go if you're in a hurry. Won Ton soup is very good, though two people will have plenty with a half order. And the Worldwide Aromatic shrimp is excellent - lightly battered/fried shrimp with a tangy sauce with fresh broccoli and beans. Definitely worthwhile.
