We love Pediatric Therapy Associates! My child has been going there for over five years now. The quality of care has been nothing short of par excellence. The front office is always very welcoming. The therapists have gone above and beyond to provide truely effective therapy for my child. I am always asking her therapists questions related to any new challenging activity that my child does at home, school or even the playground and they have always been happy to provide useful tips on how to integrate her exercises into her new activities for best success. My child is doing very well and we couldn't be happier. And most importantly, my child loves going there too for "play". Thank you PTA!
Wow, what a great group of therapists! We've been with them on and off for years and have been able to stay with the same therapists the entire time. Our child has a rare disease and the physical therapist's acute observations help lead to the right diagnosis...that means the right treatment too! The therapists are not only smart, they are kind. We have used both speech therapy and physical therapy. I highly recommend them.
I absolutely would recommend Pediatric Therapy Associates as compared with other therapists we have experienced in the past. I would recommend them highly to anyone if you are looking for therapists that really care for their patients. I’ve been taking my daughter there for the past 6 months and her visits have always been very positive. Everyone from the front office to the therapists are very friendly, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. They take their time explaining whatever questions I may have and really focus on my daughter's individual needs. They really seem to care for her and make sure I’m fully informed of her progress, which has made a world of difference. My daughter loves to come because her therapists make her work seem like play.
Too many staff changes – My son attended the Raleigh office before I removed him from therapy at PTA. While we liked each and every therapist we worked with, they kept leaving. It was so difficult for him to bond and form meaningful relationships with his therapists when every time we turned around we were given some excuse of another as to why we needed to change therapists because ours was no longer going to be working there. I'm leery of the fact that the turnover is so high. One of our therapists told us the staff work a 10.5 hour work day with only a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. A schedule like that takes a definite toll on the employees and inevitably the quality of services. We had to switch our appointment for an evening appointment at 6pm one day, and our normally sweet, caring, and energizing (seen in the morning) therapist, who had been working with special needs children since 8am that day, was burnt out, exhausted, and seemed to have nothing left to give. I can't say that I blame her. To think they do that day in and day out, it has to effect the quality of the therapy. I just couldn't keep my son in an environment where I knew the staff were unhappy and leaving, and we couldn't establish any consistency with the therapists we were seeing.
