Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!!! – I can't say enough wonderful things about the catering experience I had with this company...... WOW!!! I mean I was hosting a gathering at my home and the food was fantastic, the staff was incredible , and they did everything.... I could actually host my own party, spend time with my guests, and have not a worry in the world. When the last of my guests departed my house looked as if I had not had a party at all. In a world where people only comment on the negative I had to put my two cents in on the extraordinary experience I had with this company. Two Thumbs up!!
A Perfect DISASTER – I almost didn’t write this review in order to avoid reliving the stressful nightmare that was my wedding planning process, but I felt that if I could prevent another bride from having the same experience, I should. This vendor turned the months before and even my wedding weekend into the most stressful time of my life, and I am far from a bridezilla. Problems in the months, weeks and DAYS before included: not confirming menu choices and options, repeatedly not returning calls or e-mails to the bride/mother-of-the bride, assuring us that musicians had been booked for the church and reception and then (after I called to ask the musicians a question) finding out SIX days before the wedding that they never had been – and that they were busy that day, forgetting to deliver the programs to the church, not printing out and putting the complete readings up at the altar for the ceremony as planned (yep, biiiig pause and and then…crickets), messing up the seating plan at the reception and then putting out empty seating envelopes for guests, serving different food than we had decided upon (though it was good), forgetting the bouquet toss…I could go on and on about their unprofessional work and unkind treatment towards us, but any bride should see from the above that they are not equipped to act as event planners. My advice (beyond not using this vendor for your wedding!) would be to surround yourself with wonderful friends and family and remember what is important – even with all the things that went wrong, we had a great wedding. Our parents worked heroically to salvage the day and our friends proved that love and laughter really is all you need.
A winner – Have had many great evenings at 1703. The food has always been superb and on New Years Eve for 2 years in a row they have made dining memorable in all respects.
not go back – waitstaff walk away from patrons without explination. and not come back in the middle of the meal.they complain that some customers are cheap. and not leave them good tips. heard them complain of manangement.the waitstaff only nice to patrons who dress up. look like they have alot of money. and rude to customers that look like are not wealthy. saw the waitstaff give dirty looks to customers that not leave good tips.the customers language swear about other people.i feel that is offensive and management not do anything about it. management sees rude waitstaff. not do anything about it.the food is served half cooked to customers also.
Great Food, Location and Customer Service – 1703 Restaurant leaves much to be desired. I love the residential location and definitely appreciate the parking. The elegant decor makes you feel relaxed and very welcome. This past Sunday for brunch, I was most impress with the excellent wait staff, Angela, whom handled seven tables alone and managed to serve us with a smile and large portions of food without a wait. I had the French toast with a side of hash browns that Angela recommended as well a cup of coffee that she freshly brewed. Angela definitely enhanced the level of customer satisfaction. With excellent wait staff and delicious food I can not wait to try their lunch menu this Wednesday.
Good American Fare – In a great Neighborhood.
